  • Patent number: 8336727
Abstract: A container for substances comprises an upper wall, which functions as a lid, with a central zone on which a closed line of weakening defines a stopper, in the shape of a tongue, which normally closes a relative aperture for the substance to pass through; a lever, associated with the tongue, which can be driven so as to remove the stopper, at least partly, from the upper wall, detaching it along the line of weakening and thus freeing the aperture; and a connection element of the flexible type which is connected both to the stopper and also to the upper wall. The lever has a first end pivoted in correspondence with a peripheral rib, a second end, which functions as a gripper element, disposed in substantial correspondence with the central zone, and an intermediate zone between the two ends, wherein the lever is connected to the stopper.

  • Patent number: 8254220
Abstract: In an objective lens actuator of an optical disk drive and the like, variations in the fixed end positions of wires serving as suspensions are reduced and tilt characteristics are improved. Terminal plates 20 fixed to a lens holder are tilted relative to wires 13 for supporting the lens holder with elasticity, and are soldered at the edges of the terminal plates 20, so that variations in the fixed end positions of the wires 13 are reduced.

  • Patent number: 8148289
Abstract: A titanium oxide photocatalyst that is capable of improving a decomposition rate, and a method for producing the same are provided. The titanium oxide photocatalyst of the present invention is a titanium oxide photocatalyst containing at least an anatase-type titanium oxide and fluorine, wherein a content of the fluorine is 2.5 wt % to 3.5 wt %, and 90 wt % or more of the fluorine is chemically bonded to the anatase-type titanium oxide.

  • Patent number: 7548251
Abstract: An image forming device includes a display panel for exposing a photosensitive recording medium to light. The display panel includes a light transmissive substrate, and a plurality of light emitting elements provided on the substrate. The substrate includes a first surface for facing the photosensitive recording medium, a second surface which is opposite from the first surface, and thickness T defined as spacing distance between the first surface and the second surface. The plurality of light emitting elements is provided on the second surface to be spaced from each other. When refractive index of the substrate is expressed by n and minimum spacing distance between the plurality of light emitting elements is expressed by S, the thickness T satisfies the following inequality: T ? S ? n 2 - 1 2 .

  • Patent number: 6919961
Abstract: An object sensor is provided, which has a high object detection rate with respect to an object such as a raindrop adhering to a detection surface, and which is capable of detecting the presence/absence of an object with a high sensitivity. A light source 10, a detection surface 110, a focusing lens 40, and a plurality of photodetecting elements of a photodetecting unit 50 form a focusing system of equal magnification that is capable of catching an image in a size smaller than an object to be detected. Light emitted from the light source 10 is incident on the detection surface 110 via a prism 20 at a predetermined incident angle. Without a raindrop 120, the total internal reflection condition is satisfied as shown by a path 140 of a beam, so that the beam is subjected to the total internal reflection. Then, the beam passes through a prism 30, and is focused on a photodetecting surface of the photodetecting unit 50 by the focusing lens 40.
