  • Patent number: 7886062
Abstract: At the time of exchanging routing information of a remote site, it is examined whether there is duplicated routing information, and when the duplicated routing information exists, an address conversion rule is generated. With this, when performing communication, address conversion is performed only for the communication to a site having a duplicated network address. In case of communication to a site having no duplicated network address, by performing IP communication intact, it becomes possible to omit unnecessary address conversion processing in a gateway. Also, when there is a duplicated address, by assigning a new network address which is not used in a site under a gateway to the duplicated address included in the routing information, and distributing the newly assigned address, it becomes possible to transmit a packet to a gateway appropriate to each destination, when there are a plurality of gateways in a subnet.

  • Patent number: 7882214
Abstract: A communication system capable of securely preventing illegal use of addresses and enhancing confidentiality of communication. Based on an originating-side real address which is the real address of an originating-side client terminal and specific information included in a registration message, a conversion data generator generates conversion data which the local server alone can convert to a receiving-side real address which is the real address of a receiving-side client terminal, and transmits the conversion data to the originating-side client terminal.

  • Patent number: 7881499
Abstract: A method for automatically identifying an object is disclosed. Preferably, the method is used in conjunction with a performance monitor. A set of markers are selectively positioned on the surface of each of a plurality of golf clubs and golf balls. It is desired that each set of markers for a unique pattern on each of the golf clubs and golf balls. Each unique pattern is preferably acquired and stored. A player may choose any of a plurality of golf clubs and golf balls. When within the field of view of the performance monitor, the pattern on the club and ball is automatically matched with the stored patterns, thereby identifying the type of club and ball.

  • Patent number: 7873063
Abstract: In a cell management method and apparatus which can prevent a call loss generated in association with an increase of cell usage rate independent of a protection frequency bandwidth, cell usage rates of operating cells (at frequency Fo) are acquired. Narrower nonoperating cells (at frequency Fo) of the operating cell in which the cell usage rate indicates a high-load state are rendered an addition candidate and the operating cell is rendered a deletion candidate. A broader nonoperating cell (at frequency Fo) of the operating cell in which the cell usage rate indicates a low-load state is rendered an addition candidate, and the operating cell and other narrower operating cells belonging to the nonoperating cell are rendered deletion candidate.

  • Patent number: 7869808
Abstract: A wireless communication system which enables fast handovers by eliminating a time lag that occurs during handover process. A new base station recognizes lower layer link switching timing of a mobile station, then adjusts the output timing of a packet transmission initiation message, which triggers packet transmission, so that when a packet is transmitted from a new relay device to the mobile station, the packet may arrive at the mobile station immediately after the lower layer link switching, and sends out the packet transmission initiation message at the adjusted output timing to the new relay device. On receiving the packet transmission initiation message, the new relay device transmits the packet to the mobile station. The mobile station executes the lower layer link switching to complete lower layer handover, and then completes upper layer handover on receiving the packet from the new relay device immediately after the link switching.

  • Patent number: 7862443
Abstract: A golf putter with a novel offset and shaft-attachment design is disclosed and claimed. The club includes a head having a strike surface, a sole, and a top line. A tube is coupled to the head, a coupling member is coupled to the distal end of the tube, and a shaft is also coupled to the coupling member. The coupling member connects the tube and the shaft such that they are relatively offset. The longitudinal axes of the tube and the shaft may be substantially parallel, or the coupling member may be adjustable such that the longitudinal axes are not parallel. An alignment indicia is provided on the club head. The tube is coupled to the head at an angle such that it blocks the indicia from a user's view at address when the head is aligned properly. If the club head is not properly aligned, the golfer will be able to see the indicia and therefore know to adjust the club head before putting. Thus, putter disclosed and claimed herein provides both offset and a putting alignment aide.
