  • Patent number: 8343851
Abstract: A wafer temporary bonding method using silicon direct bonding (SDB) may include preparing a carrier wafer and a device wafer, adjusting roughness of a surface of the carrier wafer, and combining the carrier wafer and the device wafer using the SDB. Because the method uses SDB, instead of an adhesive layer, for a temporary bonding process, a module or process to generate and remove an adhesive is unnecessary. Also, a defect in a subsequent process, for example, a back-grinding process, due to irregularity of the adhesive may be prevented.

  • Patent number: 8339710
Abstract: A head up display device for a vehicle, includes a display, a reflective member, a stepping motor, and a control part. The reflective member reflects an image displayed by the display and projects the image onto a projection member, thereby displaying a virtual image. The stepping motor rotates the reflective member to adjust a display position of the virtual image. A stabilization point, at which detent torque of the stepping motor is maximized, is defined as a target rotation angle of a magnet rotor. The control part performs normal rotation control that controls amplitude of a drive signal to rotate the magnet rotor to the target rotation angle. After the control part performs the normal rotation control, the control part performs application continuation control that continues application of the drive signal for a predetermined period, with the amplitude of the drive signal at the target rotation angle being maintained.

  • Patent number: 8340624
Abstract: A LIN receiver includes a voltage divider that divides an input voltage and outputs the divided voltage, and a peak hold circuit that outputs a peak voltage of the input voltage. The LIN receiver is configured to generate a threshold voltage to be used for determining a voltage signal of a communication bus. The threshold voltage is generated from a voltage signal of the communication bus such that the peak value of the voltage signal (i.e., equivalent to a battery voltage) is held by the peak hold circuit and divided by the voltage divider. Although the communication bus is connected to an on-vehicle battery of which voltage varies with time, by using the voltage signal of the communication bus, a 5V system ECU can generate a threshold voltage which varies responding to the variation of the battery voltage. Hence, the voltage signal can be determined correctly as either high or low level.
