The U-parts located adjacent to each other are connected in the second direction so as to define S-parts, in a manner that openings of the U-parts alternately open toward a first side of the first direction or a second side of the first direction. The S-parts located adjacent to each other are combined in the first direction, in a manner that the opening open toward the first side and the opening open toward the second side oppose to each other in the first direction. The mat has a meandering structure defined by the S-parts.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a load sensor including a load detection element and a support element is provided. The support element includes a base and a spring. The spring includes a support portion, a connection portion bonding to the base, and a connecting member coupling the support portion and the connection portion. The support element transmits a detection load to the load detection element via the base and the spring. The method includes: sandwiching the load detection element between the base and the support portion; bonding the connection portion on the base so that the connecting member is deformed beyond the elastic deformation region to reach the plastic deformation region; pressing the support portion so that a contact surface of the support portion is plastically deformed; and returning deformation of the connecting member to be in the elastic deformation region.
Abstract: A display panel has a resin substrate and a printed layer formed on at least a part of the resin substrate through inkjet printing. The printed layer is formed from cured products of UV-curable inks each containing UV-curable monomers which are polymerized and cured by UV irradiation, and the printed layer has at least two such cured products having different pencil hardness values.
Abstract: IP state-vector manager determines state vector value by updating token numbers of IP state vector according to source and destination IP addresses of the received packet, and obtains state number of state vector value by counting state vector value. Port-number state-vector manager determines state vector value by updating token numbers of port-number state vector according to source and destination token numbers of packet, and obtains state number of state vector value by counting state vector value. Entropy calculator calculates entropies related to IP address and port number, based on number and state number of state vector values related to IP state vector and port-number state vector. Anomalous event determiner determines whether there is anomalous event in network based on calculated entropies. Anomalous event can be efficiently detected with minimized false negative and positive rates.

Abstract: In an electronic toll collection system, card data of a payment card is stored in an on-board unit mounted in a vehicle. Toll data necessary for a toll collection transaction including the card data is copied from the on-board unit to a cellular phone. A user passes the cellular phone to a tollgate attendant, and the toll data is moved to a toll collection unit installed at a tollgate. The toll collection unit calculates a toll fee based on the toll data and generates a delete command and road use data. When the tollgate attendant passes a portable terminal of the toll collection unit to the user, the delete command and the road use data are copied to the on-board unit. The toll data is deleted from the on-board unit by the delete command, and the road use data is reported to the user.
