Patent number: 6691905Abstract: A compact golf accessory organizer with a multi-mounting, universal functioning clip, which can attach to several different items. The common items for attachment include a golfer's golf bag, golf cart visor, clothing waistband, belt, pockets, and the like. The compact organizer contains a vac-form with impressions that mold around the included articles. This is specifically designed to only hold the following articles: four tees, two ball markers, and a universal tool which consists of a divot repair, a spike tightening device, a club cleaner and cigar holder. These items are included in the golf accessory organizer. The compact size of the organizer allows it to be stored in a golfer's shirt or pant pocket, or the user can attach it to their waistband without obstructing the golfers swing. This organizer will free up the golfers pockets and conveniently organize the common items used during the game of golf.Type: GrantFiled: October 15, 2001Date of Patent: February 17, 2004Inventor: Greg S. Patent number: 6689039Abstract: Apparatus for automatically attaching tags to articles employs a simplified tag feed mechanism in the form of a pivotally mounted spring-loaded tag feed plate. The plate receives the printed tag from the tag dispenser. The plate, with its tag, and the article to be tagged, are moved together, either manually or by action of a pneumatic cylinder, toward an attaching device such that the needle penetrates the article and the tag at the same time. The attacher is actuated to dispense a fastener through the needle. The spring-loading of the plate then urges the plate away from the needle, allowing the article with its anchored tag to be removed, once the plate clears the needle. The tag dispenser is then actuated to dispense the next printed tag.Type: GrantFiled: July 8, 2002Date of Patent: February 10, 2004Inventor: Steven Kunreuther

Patent number: 6688502Abstract: The connector connects a supported hanger and a supporting hanger. The connector engages the supported hanger at spaced points to avoid swaying of the supported hanger relative to the supporting hanger. The hangers are connected with their centers of gravity aligned so as to prevent tipping under the weight of the supported apparel. The connector is received on the supporting hanger so as not to obscure an indicia bearing clip mounted on the arcuate bar engaging part of the support hanger.Type: GrantFiled: July 15, 2002Date of Patent: February 10, 2004Inventor: Steven Kunreuther

Patent number: 6658299Abstract: An artificial system for vision and the like in which a camera views an object and creates signals corresponding thereto which are conveyed to the nervous system of the subject and produce corresponding sensations such as phosphenes in the subject's nervous system, in which the effectiveness of the system in conveying intelligence to the subject is enhanced by converting light-corresponding and dark-corresponding portions of the camera-produced signals into dark-corresponding and light-corresponding portions of the actual sensation-producing signals. Other enhancements include producing a comparatively bright signal of the edge of the object being viewed, the signals applied by a multiplexer which applies the plurality of pulses sequentially to particular locations.Type: GrantFiled: January 4, 2000Date of Patent: December 2, 2003Inventor: William H. Patent number: 6626298Abstract: Bills are loaded into a hopper, separated and moved one at a time passed authentication sensors and an optical scanner. The sensors include a UV scanner, a magnetic sensor, an infrared scanner and a metallic thread detector. A main transport belt cooperates with first and second sensor transport belts to move the bills through the scanning section and into the bill collection section. The bill collection section includes multiple collection bins, each associated with a gate which, when actuated, guides a bill into the bin. A plurality of bill tracking sensors are located along the transport path. Data signals from the authentication sensors and the optical scanner for each bill are digitized and alternately routed to two parallel data processors. The processor outputs and tracking sensor outputs are fed to a control circuit which operates the collection bin gates and regulates the transport mechanism speed.Type: GrantFiled: May 18, 2001Date of Patent: September 30, 2003Assignee: Cashcan Corp.Inventor: Jacob Lax

Patent number: 6607180Abstract: The present invention relates to a multi-purpose tool for use in connection with vehicle adjustments and repairs when it is required, in the course of repair or maintenance work, that the steering wheel, brake pedal or accelerator pedal (or clutch pedal, if present) be placed and retained in a particular position while appropriate work is performed. The tool comprises a plurality of parts selectively assemblable to carry out the desired one of a number of possible procedures.Type: GrantFiled: June 4, 2002Date of Patent: August 19, 2003Assignee: S&G Tool Aid Corp.Inventor: Michael W. Patent number: 6592220Abstract: Lenses are removably mounted on the brow bar of an eyeglass frame. A coupling part is fixed to the top of each lens, preferably by a rim member attached to the lens by conventional techniques. The coupling part is composed of magnetically attractive material and includes a protrusion. Each side of the brow bar carries one or more magnets to engage a coupling part and a recess to receive a protrusion to insure proper positioning of the lens relative to the brow bar. The coupling part may be retained behind, on top of, below or in front of the brow bar.Type: GrantFiled: January 30, 2002Date of Patent: July 15, 2003Inventor: Lak Cheong

Patent number: 6553919Abstract: The work surface has a recess into which a solid state display is received. The display is mounted for movement between a storage position, where the rear surface is co-planar with, and forms a part of, the work surface and a viewing position wherein the display screen is visible. The angle of the display relative to the work surface is adjustable about a horizontal axis for viewing comfort. In one embodiment, the recess is located in a circular section of the work surface which is rotatable relative to the remainder of the surface so as to permit adjustment of the position of the display about a vertical axis, as well.Type: GrantFiled: July 6, 1999Date of Patent: April 29, 2003Inventor: Donald Nevin

Patent number: 6543629Abstract: The cover mounts over the end of a tension rod of the type which is used to mount window curtains or the like between opposing surfaces of a window recess. The cover is provided in mating parts which are assembled and joined together. The edges of the parts are provided with aligned pairs of protrusions and recesses adapted to frictionally engage to join the parts. Some of the protrusions are bifurcated with a circumferential flange for more positive engagement. To make the cover compatible with a smaller diameter rod, a split ring adapter collar can be situated between the rod and the neck of the cover.Type: GrantFiled: September 24, 2001Date of Patent: April 8, 2003Assignee: Ex-Cell Home Fashions, Inc.Inventor: Samuel Samelson

Patent number: 6497143Abstract: Liquid, such as milk, enters the sealed container from an inlet at the top of the container and exits through an outlet at the bottom of the container. The quantity of liquid in the container is sensed and a microprocessor calculates the total volume of liquid. During periods of low flow, such as at the beginning and at the end of the milking cycle, the outlet is automatically closed, partially or completely, by a motorized valve connected to the microprocessor, or by a weighted float situated within the container, so as to accumulate the liquid during those periods thereby enhancing the accuracy of the measurement.Type: GrantFiled: July 17, 2000Date of Patent: December 24, 2002Inventor: Isaac Rinkewich
