Abstract: Camping apparatus for heating an interior of a portable habitation. The apparatus comprises an interior heater for heating the interior of the portable habitation. A heat transfer device uses fumes emitted by a fire to provide heated air. Transporting apparatus transports the heated air from the heat transfer device to the interior heater. The interior heater is disposed at a first location and the fire is disposed at a second location. The first and second locations are disposed sufficiently apart from one another to prevent the fire at the second location from spreading to the portable habitation at the first location. The transporting apparatus has a length sufficient to extend between the first and second locations.
Abstract: A golf club has a head to strike a golf ball and an elongated shaft with first and second ends, the second end being secured to the head. A grip is connected to the first end of the shaft and includes a plurality of shoulders extending away from the shaft and grooves extending between the shoulders. The shoulders are spaced apart from one another by a distance sufficient to receive fingers in the grooves when gripped by a golfer. A kit is used with a golf club. The kit comprises an elongated pad adapted to provide a plurality of shoulders extending away from a shaft of the gulf club and grooves extending between the shoulders. Also in the kit is apparatus that detachably connects the pad to a grip of the golf club. The grip of a golf club is adjusted by supporting a golf club with its head positioned as if to hit a golf ball. A position where the knuckles of the fingers are located when the club is in this position is then located.
Abstract: Portable apparatus for selectively heating and cooling an object. The apparatus comprises a container for enclosing the object. A conduit transports a portion of an output from an air-conditioning system that selectively heats and cools an interior of a motor vehicle. An attaching mechanism attaches the conduit to the motor vehicle and places the conduit in fluid communication with the output from the air-conditioning system. A connecting device connects the conduit to the container and places the conduit in fluid communication with an interior of the container for selectively heating and cooling the object enclosed in the container.
Abstract: A device used to plug an opening into and locate a receptacle in an anchor to a base employed on a playing field. The device has an elastic body that has a shape sufficiently large to extend across the opening of the receptacle. A flexible indicator is connected to the body and indicates the location of the body. The body is made from an elastomeric material capable of being deformed to insert a portion of the body through the opening into the receptacle and expands to form a plug across the opening to prevent access of dirt into the receptacle. The flexible indicator has a length sufficient to extend from the body and for a sufficient distance to be observed when the body is mounted with the receptacle and is sufficiently flexible to be deflected during ground care operations of the playing field and be visible after such ground care operations.
Abstract: An individualized system used in a motor vehicle that has a system supplying conditioned air to selectively heat and cool an interior of the motor vehicle. The system comprises tubular apparatus to route a portion of the conditioned air to a chosen location inside the motor vehicle. An input connector places the tubular apparatus in fluid communication with the portion of the conditioned air. An output connector places the tubular apparatus in fluid communication with an interior of clothing worn by an individual positioned at the chosen location inside the motor vehicle to supply the portion of conditioned air to the individual.
Abstract: Cooking apparatus includes apparatus to support food to be cooked. A housing surrounds a portion of the support apparatus and defines a portal through which food may be passed into the housing. A fireplace is disposed in the housing to support a fire that produces heated gas for cooking food. The fireplace may include a solid fuel burning grate to support solid fuel used as a flavor enhancing substance to the food being cooked with the grate having a body with apertures through which hot coal is discharged. A hot coal supporting device is disposed beneath the grate to receive the hot coals discharged from the solid fuel burning grate and has a body with apertures through which ash is discharged. An ash bin is disposed beneath the hot coal supporting device to receive the discharged ash. A heated gas passageway is provided in the housing to place the heated gas in fluid communication with an environment outside of a building in which the housing is disposed.
Abstract: A device to support baseballs used by a pitcher during batting practice. The devices comprises a container for supporting a quantity of baseballs. An upright support member supports the container above a baseball field. Detachable connecting apparatus detachably connects the container to the upright support member. An anchor device is connected to the upright support member for securing the upright support member at a location permitting the pitcher to retrieve a baseball from the container to throw during batting practice.
Abstract: A wallpaper with a decorative scene that comprises a substrate adapted to be attached to a wall and a cover attached to the substrate. The cover includes a plurality of wrinkled metal foil parts. Each of the plurality of wrinkled metal foil parts has a front and a back. A thin, flexible material is connected to the back of each of the plurality of metal foil parts. The decorative scene is disposed on the fronts of the plurality of metal foil parts. To make a decorative wallpaper, a plurality of metal foil parts backed with a thin, flexible material are provided. The thin, flexible material of each metal foil part is secured to a second thin, flexible material. Paint is applied to the metal foil parts to provide a decorative scene. The painted metal foil parts and the second thin, flexible material are damaged to create a distressed and wrinkled decorative scene. The second thin, flexible material are secured to a substrate.
