Abstract: Complementary geometric construction modules, each derived from a rectangular prism, with end faces formed obliquely to each other and to the longitudinal axis of the prism, with the two oblique faces touching each other at a point on the longitudinal edge of the prism, each module forming a hexahedron, each being the reverse or mirror-shape of the other, and providing bilateral symmetry when the two corresponding faces on the modules, are in full contact with each other; the modules in multiple sets adapted to be formed into a wide variety of sculptured architectural shapes, unique in appearance.
Abstract: An article of manufacture such as a towel or article of clothing made of a sheet material having a compliant absorbent surface on both sides thereof made of fibers having little "wet strength", and in between a thin layer of compliant plastic material as a reinforcing support with an adhesive uniformly applied on both sides thereof which is flexible, thin and insoluble when wet and which will not strike through the absorbent material nor change its appearance.
Abstract: A drip-coffee maker having a coffee dispersing section mounted to a coffee receiving vessel, the latter characterized by having double walls provided with an evacuated space therebetween, a filter contained in the dispersing section to filter the coffee into the vessel, and a venting means positioned between the dispersing section and the vessel to provide atmospheric connection between the vessel and the atmosphere.
Abstract: A pen body for a writing instrument, having a plastic barrel, and at the writing end, a collar that covers the end of the barrel, with the outside of the barrel and the inside surface of the collar containing complementary interlocking means for forming a grip-lock connection between the barrel and the collar. The barrel and the inside of the collar may be provided with camming surfaces to secure a ball-point cartridge to the barrel.
Abstract: A porcelain denture tooth for attachment to the denture plastic base, mounted to the gums, made with a unitary thinwalled metal embedded support, U-shaped in cross-section, embedded in the denture tooth body, with portions of the U-shaped metal retainer extending outside the tooth body to form ahead portion for attachment to the denture base.
Abstract: The method of changing the entire buccal surface area of a tooth, which comprises applying a layer of glue to the entire buccal area of the tooth and thereafter blowing powdered particles having the desired color, on the buccal surface, said glue being sufficiently tenacious to permanently lock said particles to the glue, and said particles having a hardness approaching that tooth enamel.
Abstract: A dental appliance for maintaining axis parallelism of dental dowel pins when positioning replicas of teeth taken from impressions in a model of the mouth, which employs a plate, connected pivoting links, or a rail, having a plurality of apertured seats for mounting the dowel pins therein in positions conforming to the configurations of the teeth and for maintaining axis parallelism of the dowel pins, said apertured seats being permanently mounted to each other in predetermined transverse positions, to provide a simplified structure for locating the mounted dowel pins with respect to the impressions of the teeth.
Abstract: An oscillating toothbrush is disclosed in which an offset brushing head is integrally attached to a shank, the shank being housed with a two piece cylindrical handle. A pair of opposite pin surfaces cooperate with internally enclosed helical slots to provide an oscillating up down movement as the toothbrush moves across the surface of the teeth. The handle is provided with a rear stop surface cooperating with the end of the shank at which there is also located an apparatus of smaller diameter than the end of the shank in order to permit cleaning of the insides of the oscillating toothbrush.
