  • Patent number: 6571404
Abstract: An above ground pool having identical sized panels coupled together to form the perimeter of the pool. Post structures located at the union of adjacent panels include angle members that span the union of adjacent panels and determine the angle at which adjacent panels extend with respect to each other. Different sets of angle members can be utilized to form different angles between adjacent panels to establish different sizes of pools having different numbers of panels.

  • Patent number: 6531683
Abstract: A boom control system having rotational and elevation control of the boom. The boom is utilized in a welding apparatus utilizing a conduit to deliver the welding material to the work piece. The elevation of the boom may be adjusted by discrete steps, with a positive method of retaining the boom at a desired elevation. The desired elevation is determined by the operator as that elevation which will keep the conduit or carrier from contacting the hard surface of the floor and the work piece. The rotation may be accomplished by any well known method such as a turntable on which the elevation mechanism is mounted.

  • Patent number: 6419233
Abstract: An improved shaft seal assembly is disclosed having a stator including a main body and axial and radial projections therefrom. The rotor is radially extended and encompasses the axial and radial projections from said stator. The passageway formed between the radial projection of the stator and the rotor results in an axial passageway having its opening facing rearwardly from the rotor and away from the source of impinging coolant and/or contaminant. The dimension of interface gap between the rotor and the radial projection from the stator, which the access to the shaft of any impinging material, is fixed at a predetermined value and does not vary with the relative movement between the rotor and the stator. The novel seal assembly of this invention thus provides improved rejection or warding off of contaminates from ingress into the labyrinths and ultimately restrained from attacking the bearing environment.
