Abstract: A wireless network including a plurality of base stations operating at a public spectrum frequency, each base station capable of generating an adjustable size coverage area. Each base station utilizes dedicating channels for each user to permit avoidance of one or more sources of interference. A server supplies data to the base stations, and managing billing and access to the wireless network. A plurality of base stations employs transmissions in the unlicensed spectrum (i.e. 3.6 and 5.7 GHz in the US) for permitting flexibility in transmission power and additional subchannel/subcarrier interleaving capability for mitigating interference.
