    Abstract: A ski boot comprises a continuous shell surrounding the foot (bottom of the shell) and the front of the bottom of the leg (upper) and respectively having zones of differnt rigidity and a rear cover or spoiler pivoted on said shell approximately in the malleolar zone surrounding the rear of said bottom of the leg and serving as cover for closing the boot on the foot, as well as means for rearwardly supporting the leg when in position of use. Means are provided for connecting said rear cover or spoiler and the monobloc upper bottom of shell assembly.A member is also provided for supporting the upper formed by the rear cover and the upper, said member being able to occupy a first active position for limiting the rearward angular movement of said upper, and a second inactive position allowing this upper freedom of angular movement.In active position of use, the support member removably mounted on the rear closing cover is in direct contact with the rigid bottom of the shell.

    Abstract: An apparatus for spray drying of liquid and paste-like materials comprises a chamber for combustion of a gaseous drying medium passing therein in a pulsating flow, which chamber has an inlet pipe for feeding therein the gaseous drying medium, coaxial with the chamber. Mounted into the chamber is a pipe for injecting the liquid or paste-like materials, a portion of the pipe being disposed on the centerline of said chamber in the direction of travel of the gaseous drying medium flow. An exhaust pipe is mounted in a coaxial relationship to said chamber at the end thereof opposite to the inlet pipe for feeding the gaseous drying medium. The apparatus has also at least one shroud (baffle) in the form of a truncated cone facing by its smaller base the interior of said chamber and positioned in a coaxial relationship thereto. The first shroud in the direction of travel of the atomized material flow is positioned directly in said exhaust pipe in a spaced relationship thereto to define a gap therebetween.

    Abstract: A gas turbine engine in which a centrifugal diffusor is located downstream of a centrifugal compressor. The compressor air flow from the centrifugal diffusor is deflected into an axial direction by a substantially 90 degree elbow. The air flow is further decelerated in an axial-flow stator cascade upstream of the combustion chamber. A main bearing of the gas generator is arranged immediately downstream of the centrifugal compressor. This bearing is supplied from the outside through vanes of the axial-flow stator cascade. The axial-flow stator cascade is divided into groups of vanes, so that each group had a number of relatively small guide vanes and one relatively large guide vane. The small guide vanes are designed from the view point of fluid mechanics consideration, while the larger guide vane of a group is hollow for supplying the bearing. The large guide vane has a substantially longer and a substantially thicker vane profile than the small vanes.

The flywheel assembly further includes a hydraulic control means for hydraulically connecting the first and second flywheels during disengagement of the centrifugal type clutch so as to ensure sliding and smooth connection or disconnection between the first and second flywheels.
