  • Patent number: 5611510
Abstract: A device for fitting up an auxiliary lamp of the present invention includes a pair of brackets 2 opposite to each other and projecting from an auxiliary lamp body 1, a support plate 4 having one side surface adhered to a surface of an automobile, pivot members 5 for projecting from another side surface of the support plate 4 to be fitted loosely between the brackets 2, pivot members 5 interposing washer and nut members 6 and 7, arcuate members 8 and 9 on both sides of the brackets 2, arcuate members 10 and 11 at the surface of the washer and nut members 6 and 7, respectively, and the pivot, washer and nut members 5, 6 and 7 and brackets 2 that have a horizontally elongate recess 12, a through hole 13, a tapped hole 14 and a through hole 15 at the center, respectively and that are engaged by a bolt 16. Thereby, an illumination direction of an auxiliary lamp can be easily adjusted in the vertical or horizontal directions after the auxiliary lamp has been fitted to an automobile by an adhesive.

  • Patent number: 5591065
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for dressing a hone of a honing wheel which is used for honing a gear to be finished. A dressing tool is brought into contact with the honing wheel under a predetermined constant contact pressure and during the reciprocal feed of the dressing tool. The amount of the contact pressure is maintained constant so as to gradually increase the in-feed of the honing wheel. This is useful in decreasing the number of transverse feeds of the dressing tool.

  • Patent number: 5586462
Abstract: A device for converting a straight pipe having an annular cross-section defined between an inner diameter and an outer diameter into a bent pipe having a non-annular cross-section, and method for making the same are disclosed. The device includes a round, bar-shaped guide member having a first end portion and a second end portion which is spaced therefrom in the axial direction and for being mounted slidably with the straight pipe. A floating member is formed into a prismoid and connected to the second end of the round, bar-shaped guide member in a ball-and-socket joint. The prismoid includes a first end in the form of a small polygon whose maximum radial length is less than the inner diameter of the straight pipe, and a second end in the form of a large polygon similar to the small polygon in shape and spaced from the first end in the axial direction.
