    Abstract: A silicone hardcoat composition for plastic substrates is provided in the form of an aqueous cohydrolyzate of chemically combined siloxy units, organosiloxy units and siloxy units having from 1-3 chemically combined UV stabilizing organic groups attached to silicon by carbon-silicon bonds. Thermoplastic substrates treated with such silicone hardcoat compositions are also provided.
