  • Patent number: 7229267
Abstract: A tablet press with a rotary turret that is driven by a direct drive is described. The rotary turret can be driven by a simple, inexpensive drive having low vibrations, which reduces the stress on the mechanical components and the drive train of the press.

  • Patent number: 7062353
Abstract: The invention relates to especially simple, rapid and multidimensional surface reproduction. According to the inventive method for reconstructing a surface of a structure which is described by 3D data points in chronological order, 3D data points are processed using a linear interpolation in such a way that chronologically directly adjacent 3D data points remain unchanged.

  • Patent number: 6867970
Abstract: A modular converter unit and a power converter assembly having at least one modular converter unit are described. The converter unit includes a two-sided cooling device and an intermediate circuit capacitor battery with several capacitors that are arranged one on top of the other in a mounting frame. A power module with a control component and a conductor rail system is arranged on one or more mounting plates. The mounting frame is finished with metal sheets for forming channel. A compact converter unit can thus be produce a series of universal modular converter assemblies at low cost.

  • Patent number: 6591755
Abstract: In a method of renewing ties of a railroad track extending in a longitudinal direction and including a succession of ties supported on a ballast bed, damaged old ties are comminuted either before removal from the track or after removal of the track and subsequently ejected into a storage wagon by a first conveyor device extending longitudinally in the direction of the track. The comminuted ties are then transported via a second conveyor device, extending in the longitudinal direction, to a number of further like storage wagons arranged behind one another, for selectively filling the further storage wagons, whereas new tie replace the removed damaged ties.

  • Patent number: 5924953
Abstract: A friction cone gearing includes a housing, first and second bevel wheels received in the housing and rotatable about parallel rotational axes, with the bevel wheels having a same taper angle, a friction ring operatively engaged with the bevel wheels and encircling one of the bevel wheels, whereby the friction ring is guided along a generatrix of both bevel gears, and a cage for retaining the friction ring, with the cage being guided along the generatrix of both bevel gears and swingably mounted to the housing for pivoting about a pivot axis by means of a suitable drive mechanism.
