Abstract: A fabricating method for the self-drilling screw has acts of forming a main section and a secondary section by punching, forming a flat drilling blade with a tapered end at a bottom end of the small diameter portion by punching, and forming a thread portion on an outer surface of the main section and a chip removal thread portion with a spiral chip removal groove on an outer surface of the secondary section by rolling. The self-drilling screw utilizes the flat drilling blade with the tapered end and the chip removal section having chip removal function to reduce the size of the drilling blade. Therefore, the self-drilling screw reduces the size of the punching die, lowers the punching force, lowers both the load of the punching die and the load of the punching machine, and lowers both the die cost and the manufacturing cost.

Abstract: The invention relates to an injection device for injecting high-pressure fuel into the combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine, the device comprising an injection valve assigned to a discrete reservoir chamber. A non-return valve operates between the chamber and the high-pressure supply line and the filter, which is preferably designed as an edge filter, forms a stop for limiting the opening motion of the valve member that is preferably designed as a valve member plate.

Abstract: An electric plug includes a casing, two metal contacting blades, a printed circuit board and a cap. The casing has a cavity defined in the casing. The two metal contacting blades are mounted in the casing and extend out from the casing. The printed circuit board is received in the cavity in the casing and has two metal clampers electrically connecting with the printed circuit board. Each clamper has two legs mounted on the printed circuit board and curved toward each other for securely clamping the contacting blade between the two legs and electrically conducting the contacting blade with the printed circuit board. The cap is mounted on the casing for closing the cavity in the casing. The clampers provide a high heat-resistance. The connections between clampers and the contacting blades are firm for providing a well conduction without wire or welding.

A component assembly comprising a functional element and a sheet metal part as well as a method for the attachment of a functional element to the sheet metal part are also claimed.

Abstract: A process for foaming ceramic foams, in which the ceramic foams are produced from a precursor or a mixture of precursors which contain at least one ceramic-forming element and liberates at least one volatile reaction product during an inorganic gelation process. In one embodiment, foaming is based on a precursor containing crystals of the AlCl3(Pri2O) complex. The decomposition of the initial precursor produces polymerizing species dissolved in liquid isopropyl chloride. The solvent and growing AlOxCly(OPri)z species are mixed homogeneously so that the boiling point of the solution is raised above the boiling point of the pure isopropyl chloride. Polymerization takes place in the liquid until a critical polymer size is attained, whereupon a phase separation into polymer rich and solvent rich regions occurs. Since the expelled solvent is suddenly above its boiling point, bubbles start forming instantly.

The second O-ring is mounted between the mounting bracket and the stationary collar. The locking pin is mounted securely between the mounting bracket and the stationary collar. The O-rings provide multi-sealing functions. The locking pin prevents relative rotation between the mounting bracket and stationary collar.

The housing has two openings as an inlet opening and an outlet opening. The pumping assembly is mounted in the housing and has a motor and a fan. The motor is mounted between the inlet and outlet openings and drives the fan. Consequently, mounting the motor between the first opening and the second opening dissipates the heat of the motor because the air passing by the motor cools the motor. The pressure releasing valve is adjusted by users and releases air while pressure of air in the inflatable body reaches a predetermined pressure level.

The method includes operating the boiler and executing a combustion stroke, determining if an ambient air temperature measured by an ambient air temperature detecting sensor is equal to or lower than a first temperature, shifting a 3-way valve to a hot-water location if the measured ambient air temperature is equal to or lower than the first temperature, executing an extinction stroke of a burner if the temperature of space heating water reaches a second temperature, and operating a circulation pump and a blower to exchange heat in a heat exchanger and to discharge warm air through an exhaust pipe, thereby preventing coagulation in the exhaust pipe of the boiler.

The seam can be sewn at one of a plurality of spacings from the barrel to form a drainage line element of a different diameter from a standard diameter without need to adjust or replace other components of the fabricating machine.
