    Abstract: A system and method for providing correlation of HDL signal names in the structural gate level description. In one embodiment, an HDL behavioral description of a circuit is processed by a correlation compiler to identify intermediate signals. The behavioral description is modified to specify that the intermediate signals are primary outputs of the circuit. The modified behavioral description is then processed by a synthesis tool to generate a structural description corresponding to the modified behavioral description. The structural description includes as outputs the identified intermediate signals.

    Abstract: An alignment indication apparatus is provided that indicates whether a selected position of a first portion of a trailer is aligned with a selected position of a second portion of the trailer. The first and second portions are adjustably moveable relative to one another. In one embodiment, the apparatus includes a universal mounting assembly, a sensor, a trigger element, and an indicator. The universal mounting assembly is adapted to be rigidly mounted to the first trailer portion proximal to the selected position of the first portion. The sensor is adjustably mounted to the universal mounting assembly. The trigger element is adapted to adhere to the selected position of the second trailer portion. The indicator indicates to a user when the sensor is aligned with the trigger element thereby indicating when the selected position of the first trailer portion and selected position of the second trailer portion are aligned with one another.

    Abstract: A dual beam system includes an ion beam system and a scanning electron microscope with a magnetic objective lens. The ion beam system is adapted to operate optimally in the presence of the magnetic field from the SEM objective lens, so that the objective lens is not turned off during operation of the ion beam. An optional secondary particle detector and an optional charge neutralization flood gun are adapted to operate in the presence of the magnetic field. The magnetic objective lens is designed to have a constant heat signature, regardless of the strength of magnetic field being produced, so that the system does not need time to stabilize when the magnetic field is changed.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for generating a three-dimensional microstructure in an object. In one embodiment, a method for fabricating a microscopic three-dimensional structure is provided. A work piece is provided that includes a target area at which the three-dimensional structure is to be fabricated. The target area has a plurality of virtual dwell points. A shaped beam is provided to project onto the work piece. The intersection of the shaped beam with the work piece defines a beam incidence region that has a desired shape. The beam incidence region is sufficiently large to encompass multiple ones of the virtual dwell points. The shaped beam is moved across the work piece such that different ones of the virtual dwell points come into it and leave it as the beam moves across the work piece thereby providing different doses to different ones of the virtual dwell points as the different dwell points remain in the beam incidence region for different lengths of time during the beam scan.

    Abstract: The invention is a divider block assembly suitable for use at high fluid pressures. Applicant has found that divider blocks in common use deform sufficient at high pressures to have an adverse affect on accurate fluid delivery and component longevity. A preferred high pressure divider block uses divider block sections engineered for high pressure applications with substantially thicker material surrounding the piston bore, utilizing precise bolt placement on the divider block sections to ensure even pressure to prevent distortion of the piston bore, and engineered base plate inlet and end sections that allow mounting of divider blocks without the addition of extra intermediate sections to reduce leak paths and bolts to secure the base together more firmly, all bolts being torqued to prevent distortion while sealing fluid passages. The use of any of these aspects separately can improve performance, and not all are required in every embodiment.

    Abstract: In one embodiment, a vehicular collision avoidance method is provided that includes monitoring a control of a vehicle and activating a first alarm if the control is not adjusted in a sufficient amount of time. The monitored control is normally and regularly adjusted by the vehicle's operator such that the time between adjustments is sufficiently smaller than the time normally needed to avoid a collision after it is detected that the control is no longer being controlled. The first alarm is activated if it is determined that the control is not adjusted in a sufficiently small amount of time from its preceding adjustment. Thus, the vehicle's operator or other vehicle member can react and take measures to ensure that the vehicle is under suitable control upon activation of the alarm and thereby avoid a possible collision.

In contrast to magnetic lenses equipped with a coil, it is not easy in the case of lenses equipped with permanent-magnetic material to alter the focusing magnetic field with the aim of altering the optical power. In an apparatus according to the invention, the optical power of the lens systems is altered by altering the energy with which the beam (1) traverses the lens systems (10, 20). This can easily happen by altering the voltage of electrical power supplies (14, 24).
