Abstract: A system for folding a sheet of material is provided. Creases are formed in the sheet representing fold lines for the sheet. A plurality of first indicia markings are provided on the sheet with each first marking being positioned so as to align with a respective one of a plurality of second indicia markings when the sheet is correctly folded along the crease lines. In an embodiment, the sheet size is a multiple of 2 inches by 3.5 inches to allow the sheet to be folded into a business card size which will readily fit into a pocket, purse or a wallet. In an embodiment, the sheet is folded so as to have a final folded size of no greater than 20 square inches. To permit an easy and full viewing of any particular segment of information printed on the sheet, the sheet is folded by a plurality of lateral and longitudinal folds to provide a plurality of panels bounded by fold lines. Discrete segments of information are printed on the panels.
Abstract: A flow machine with rotor and stator in axial structure in flow-oriented terms, at least in sections, having moving blades at the rotor and housing-fixed guide vanes, whereby the latter are arranged as at least one guide vane ring with an inner and an outer cover band. The at least one guide vane ring is implemented as self-bearing component part having a closed reinforcement at the inner cover band that reinforces the component part to resist jamming axial deformation, comprises a segmented outer cover band and is positioned in the housing over at least three cover band segments with bearing units that respectively allow radial relative movements. An air guide shell that guides a cooling air stream along the inside of the housing and is provided with openings for the housing-fixed bearing elements of the at least one guide vane ring is arranged between the housing and the outer cover band of the at least one guide vane ring.
Abstract: In the ISDN telecommunication system, the connection between a digital local exchange and the network termination ensues via a public two-wire line at whose ends what are referred to as U-transformers reside. When the network termination leads to a terminal subscriber, then this is called a U.sub.k0 interface whereat the line length between the transformers can amount to up to 8 km. The bit error rate of the transmitted pulses must be <10.sup.-7, whereby the pulses have direct currents for the remote feed of the terminal subscribers that can amount to up to 80 mA superimposed on them. For such U.sub.K0 transformers, a toroidal tape core of a soft-magnetic, amorphous, magnetostriction-free alloy tape is employed. The manufactured toroidal tape core is tempered in a magnetic field, this thermal treatment ensuing in a protective gas atmosphere.
