Abstract: A switch-arc preventing continuous current circuit for protecting pulsing contact telephone exchange switches, the circuit having a first transistor in circuit with and controlled by a control transistor, the power electrodes of the first transistor being disposed in circuit between an inductive coil of a stepping solenoid and a protected switch, a bias voltage source connected to a terminal of the protected switch by a blocking diode and a pair of resistors in series, and a metal oxide varistor in shunt across the power electrodes of the first transistor.

Abstract: A chest exerciser comprising a compressible spring member which is normally expanded in shape, handles which are of a shape easily and comfortably grasped and attached to ends of the spring member, the spring member resisting human arm pressure, urging compression thereof, the spring being of hollow thermoplastic material and the compression thereof being partially resisted by air pressure.

Abstract: A multi-pipe hanger comprising a support assembly extending generally horizontally, first and second downwardly depending sections attached to respective ends of said support assembly, a first pipe receiving module which is concave on its upper side, connecting means connecting ends of the first pipe-receiving module to downwardly depending sections respectively. One or more other pipe-receiving modules also having upwardly facing concave surfaces for receiving pipes, said one or more other modules forming portions of one of the connecting means connecting ends of said first module to said support assembly. The support assembly comprising a pair of attachment sections disposed one above another, and an anchor shaft extending through openings in said attachment sections and secured to said attachment sections.

Abstract: A coin counter and wrapper filler comprising a body having a hollow shank receiving coins, the lower end of the shank being tapered inwardly for reception in the upper end of a cylindrical paper coin wrapper, said body having a funnel attached at its upper end, said body having visibility means so that the quantity of coins inside the tank can be read against indicia printed on the shank, and a plug having a lower end extending across and engaging the lower end of the shank, the plug having an upper end portion of resilient nature which resiliently and removably grips the lower end of the shank, whereby the plug can be removed after coin counting for permitting coins to fall into the open top of a closed coin wrapper.

Abstract: A wrist and forearm conditioner and exerciser useful for conditioning and strengthening the wrist and forearm for such activities as golf, tennis and handball, thereby decreasing the susceptibility to the condition called "tennis elbow". The exercise comprises a handle similar to that of a tennis racquet attached to a handle carrier, a frame rotatably mounting the carrier on a wall, and a resilient member mounted on the frame and tensioned increasingly by the carrier as the handle is rotated.

Abstract: A nail holder having nail holding jaws mounted on levers pivoting at a position such that good leverage can be applied for gripping a nail, the undersides of the jaws providing a cavity receiving a ridge of corrugated roofing, the tool being formed in a manner for economical manufacture from materials sufficiently malleable as to withstand hammer blows, some of the levers being formed of steel bars twisted for ease of pivotal attachment.

Abstract: A fluid dispenser for attachment between a water pipe and a shower head having a main stream water passage therethrough into which dispensed fluids flow through a port surrounded by a delivery manifold delivering the fluids from a reservoir assembly from which the fluids flow through valves, the outlet ports of the valves being cleaned to prevent clogging by water flowing past them which reaches them by flow from a bypass opening from the main stream passage upwardly through an in-flow compartment of the manifold which is separated from the out-flow compartment by a weir over which the water flows to direct it at the outlets of the valves, the reservoir assembly with its valves being removable from the delivery manifold for ease of refilling.

Abstract: A pick-up tool comprising an elongated hollow shank having a fixed jaw at one end, a pivoting jaw opposite the fixed jaw, a handle transverse to the shank, a trigger adjacent the handle and moveably mounted thereon, a connection member attached to the moveable jaw and to the trigger, and a spring urging the moveable jaw into an open position.The moveable jaw closes into a notch in the forward end of the fixed jaw. A major portion of the length of the moveable jaw is closely adjacent to the fixed jaw when the jaws are in a position of being closed to the maximum. The connection member is flexible and has a slacking section urged toward a slack position by a spring secured to the ends of the slacking section, the connection member being drawn taut by a sufficient movement of the trigger.

Abstract: A lawn rake and cultivator comprising a frame having multiple rows of depending tines, each of which has a forward end which inclines forwardly and upwardly the majority of the time during forward travel, for pitching thatch forwardly and upwardly out of grass due to resiliency of the teeth which causes them to move backwards and forwards as they engage the ground and support the frame, one or more teeth being held upwardly for row crop cultivation by passing harmlessly across the row crop, the teeth being stiffened for special uses by a horizontal stiffener fixed to the frame and having openings therethrough receiving center portions of the teeth.
