  • Patent number: 8292622
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of inserting an implant in a bone. In the bone, a thin slit is formed by a cutting tool in a mesiodistal direction around an insertion spot of the implant. The thin slit is cut and widened by a bone chisel. Into the implant insertion spot, a tool for forming cavity provided with a needle portion is squeezed while being rotated, and a cavity is formed. In the formed cavity and the slit, blood of a patient is collected, by which a tissue is rapidly regenerated and bonded to the inserted implant, and the implant is firmly fixed to the bone.

  • Patent number: 8251354
Abstract: A gas spring includes a rod body that has a base end side movable into and out of a cylinder body. The rod body is urged in a direction outward of the cylinder body by pressure from a gas sealed inside the cylinder body. A cylindrical cover body includes a base end portion connected to a distal end portion of the rod body that projects outside of the cylinder body. An end portion of the cover body receives a head end portion of the cylinder body inside a cylindrical cover member at an end portion of the cylinder body. The cover member covers a portion of the spring that would otherwise be exposed to the air between the end portion of the cover body and the end portion of the cylinder body when the cylinder body is contracted inside the cover body.

  • Patent number: 8130070
Abstract: A multiple fuse device for a vehicle includes a circuit board with a battery-side bus bar portion and an alternator-side bus bar portion connected together by a temporary joint portion at a position apart from a fusing portion that provides charging current protection. An insulator housing is placed over the circuit board but the temporary joint portion is left uncovered by the insulator housing. A temporary joint portion is then at least partially removed. This partial removal may leave behind two temporary joint portion remnants, one on the battery-side bus bar portion, and one on the alternator-side bus bar portion. The temporary joint portion thus enhances the strength of the circuit board while the fuse device is being manufactured, which prevents the fusing portion from being accidentally deformed or broken during the device's assembly.
