Abstract: A wireless communication device for use in a noisy or harsh environment in connection with a cellular telephone is disclosed. The wireless communication device provides enhanced audio broadcasting capabilities for an operator of the device by providing a larger, more powerful speaker than that typically found in a cellular telephone. The apparatus of the present invention improves cellular telephone usage in the typically noisy and harsh environment found while operating a boat. The present apparatus further provides a half-duplex mode of communication to further reduce ambient noise experienced while using a cellular telephone in a noisy environment In another embodiment, the apparatus is connectable to a variety of external devices and is capable of operating the external devices and providing internet access for a variety of external devices through a cellular telephone connection In at least one embodiment, the present invention is connectable to any transceiver.

Abstract: A grey water diversion system is provided. An interceptor includes an inlet, a filter, an outlet, and an orifice. The filter is located along a bottom of a water flow path from the inlet to the outlet and delivers water to the orifice as filtered water. A gas pump, connected to a filter stem, delivers gas to the filter via the stem when the system detects the presence of the water. The gas rises through the filter to raise debris from the filter to the water flow path. A water overflow delivers the debris to the outlet. A suction manifold, including a sensor, receives the filtered water from the orifice. The sensor detects the presence of the filtered water. A water pump receives the filtered water from the manifold, activates when the sensor detects the presence of the filtered water, and delivers the filtered water into a water usage system.
Abstract: A beverage cooling container top apparatus includes a bottom reservoir wall portion which includes a cooling reservoir fill channel. A top reservoir wall portion includes a cooling reservoir access channel. The top reservoir wall provides a closed top. A side wall portion extends between the bottom reservoir wall portion and the top reservoir wall portion. A container-reception portion is connected to the side wall portion. The bottom reservoir wall portion, the top reservoir wall portion, and the side wall portion define a cooling reservoir. Preferably, cooling fins are located on the top reservoir wall portion. A main reservoir access channel can be provided to bypass the cooling reservoir when the contents of the beverage cup are no longer hot. The apparatus of the invention holds and cools a portion of the hot contents of a beverage cup to prevent a user from a very unpleasant burning of the lips and tongue from the hot beverage in the beverage cup.
Abstract: A trailer of the type adapted to be folded from an expanded state to a compact state. The trailer includes a central chassis portion with pivot means at longitudinal ends thereof, as well as a front and rear chassis portion pivotably connected to the central chassis portion through respective front and rear pivot means. When the trailer is in the expanded state, the front chassis portion, rear chassis portion and central chassis portion extend in a substantially horizontal plane, and when the trailer is in the compact state, the front chassis portion and rear chassis portion extend substantially perpendicularly to the central chassis portion. In this state, at least one of the front or rear chassis portions extends at least partially below the central chassis portion to thereby assist in stabilizing the trailer in the compact state.
Abstract: A shelf for use in a conventional retail display gondola or perimeter wall shelving includes an upper support surface for merchandise and an enclosure below that surface in which electronic components including a thin client computer or a media player are housed. A video display monitor has a screen visible through an opening in a front face of the shelf. The enclosure is usually secured to deny access to the electronic component, but can be opened to provide access to the electronic components housed therein.

Abstract: A wireless communication device for use in connection with a cellular telephone is disclosed and a transceiver radio such as a citizens band radio. The wireless communication device of the present invention provides enhanced audio broadcasting capabilities for an operator of the device by providing a larger, more powerful speaker than that typically found in a cellular telephone. Thus, the apparatus of the present invention improves cellular telephone usage in a noisy environment such as the cab of a tractor trailer or other vehicle. In another embodiment, the wireless communication device of the present invention is connectable to multiple external devices and is capable of operating the external devices and providing access to a cellular telephone network for such external devices.

Abstract: A dual opening refuse gathering apparatus and method for gathering debris and particulate matter is disclosed. The apparatus can be used to clean debris from a variety of surfaces, including but not limited to tables, floors, and streets. The invention disclosed includes a structure with an entrance opening and exit opening to collect then dispose of debris. The invention may be used with an attached gripping unit and/or an attached container. The method of use disclosed involves the collection of debris into the entrance opening and disposal of the debris through the exit opening into an attached container.
Abstract: A continuous high-frequency oscillation breathing device delivers therapy during both inhalation and exhalation in order to assist in clearings secretions the lungs. A fixed shrouded-venturi patient interface circuit is combined with medicated aerosol to deliver continuous high-frequency oscillation therapy. Fixed open apertures in the patient interface circuit allow ingress and egress of flow, and are calibrated to allow exhalation and prevent stacking of successive breaths.
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for fault-tolerant computing in a parallel processing environment. Intermediate data points are determined from a set of input data by a plurality of processing elements operating in parallel. Preferably, the resolution of the intermediate data points is greater than the resolution required in an output imaging data set. The intermediate data points are spatially re-gridded to the resolution required in the output imaging data set, ignoring any missing data as a result of a processing element failing.
