Abstract: A display device having a plurality of rotatable sleeve elements, with each sleeve element having a plurality of indicia on its outer surfaces and a through opening. The through opening has a uniform cross-sectional shape that is generally circular, with at least one notch extending beyond the perimeter of the circle. The opposing surface of each sleeve element has at least one protrusion (or indentation) that corresponds in shape and size to at least one corresponding indentation (or protrusion) on the mating surface. When a plurality of sleeve elements are slidably and axially placed over the body abutting each other, the unique shape of the through opening of and the protrusion-indentation combination on each sleeve element allow the frictional rotation of the sleeve element with ease, but locks it at a predetermined position to provide a message from the combined indicia on the sleeve elements.
Abstract: A device for removing and harvesting veins that minimizes the invasive nature of the procedure by providing an internal cutting device with an inner blade to sever the vein at the desired location from below the skin surface, after separation of the vein from the surrounding tissue. The device also includes a serrated cutting tip, a cutting system having a looped wire or two or more wires connected at the distal end of the device, which can be tightened to sever the vein in lieu of the use of the inner blade, or heated by a power source to cauterize the vein. An injection port and cannula may also be contained in the device for delivery of local anesthesia around the vein.
Abstract: A multi-sports ball return net system and a method thereof that consistently returns a ball hit, kick, thrown or strike into it directly to a user and is portable, easy to assemble and disassemble. The multi-sports ball return net system has a frame and a net mounted across the frame. The net forms an upper U-shape forward bulging pillow and a lower U-shape channel or hammock. A ball propelled into the U-shape pillow drops down to the U-shape channel, which funnels the ball to the lowest and central point of the U-shape channel for discharge toward the user.
Abstract: A display device having a display section and a support section, both formed from a sheet of stiff bendable and resilient material such as heavy weight paper and thin plastic. A base panel extends horizontally across the sheet with two slots of equal length extending vertically and generally symmetrically from the base panel for a small portion of the length of the sheet. A hinge formed by a crease is located horizontally between the two slots midway between the ends of the slots forming an upper panel and a lower panel between the slots and the hinge extends on both sides of the slots across the sheet. Another hinge is located at the top of the upper panel and still another hinge is located across the top of the base panel. The sheet bends at the crease on both sides of the slots forming a front display. The upper panel and lower panel bend so that the base panel is aligned with the lower panel. The lower edge of the base panel is placed directly beneath the upper edge of the upper panel.
