The implant body has a base section and a neck section, each of which has a different degree of roughness.

Abstract: A process for producing a diamond substance with a first inner nozzle and a second outer nozzle. In the first step of the process, a first mixture comprised of oxygen and a hydrocarbon gas is formed in the first inner nozzle; such hydrocarbon gas contains from about 1.01 to about 1.1 moles of carbon for each mole of oxygen present in such first mixture, and said first mixture contains at least about 10 volume percent of hydrocarbon gas. In the second step of the process, the first mixture is ignited to produce a flame core. In the third step of the process, a second mixture comprised of hydrogen and oxygen is formed in the outer nozzle; the second mixture is comprised of at least 2 moles of said hydrogen for each mole of said oxygen present in the second mixture; hydrogen gas and oxygen gas comprise at least about 20 molar volume percent of the second mixture; and the second mixture contains up to about 5 volume percent of hydrocarbon gas.
Abstract: A guided rotor compressor that contains at least three hollow rollers, each of which has a sheath surrounding a core. The coefficient of friction of the sheath and the core is from about 0.01 to about 0.15, but the coefficient of friction of the core is at least 1.2 times as great as the coefficient of friction of the sheath. The core has a cross-sectional area that is at least about 1.5 times as great as the cross-sectional area of the said sheath. Abstract: An assembly for protecting biological tissue from the effects of heating. The assembly contains a conductor in contact with the biological tissue and forming an electrical circuit comprising the biological tissue. The assembly contains a device for modifying the impedance of the electrical circuit such that, at a frequency of from about 10 megahertz to about 150 megahertz, such impedance is at least about 0.5 ohms per centimeter of length of said conductor. The assembly also contains a device for limiting the flow of current through the biological tissue such that, when the assembly is exposed to an alternating current electromagnetic field at a frequency of 64 megahertz and a magnetic field strength of 1.5 Tesla for 15 minutes, the temperature of the biological tissue does not exceed 42 degrees Celsius.
