Abstract: An assembly for adjusting first and second portions of a vehicle relative to each other, the assembly having a main frame adapted to be secured on the first portion of the vehicle in fixed relation thereto with the second portion of the vehicle above the main frame in an unadjusted relationship; a subframe mounted on the main frame in upstanding relation adjacent to the second portion of the vehicle; and a belt interconnecting the main frame and subframe and being tensionable to engage the second portion of the vehicle in supporting relation thereto.
Abstract: A herbicide wand and method for making, the wand having a tubular member adapted to receive liquid herbicide and provided with a plurality of bores of predetermined diameter, an emitter of braided cord having a diameter which is greater than the diameter of the bores when untensioned and smaller when tensioned, the emitter being threaded through the member in slidable engagement with its wall so that the member has portions within the member immersed in the herbicide and has portions outward of the member to apply the herbicide and the method including forming a plurality of emitters from a length of such cord with each emitter having an integral needle for threading it through such bores.
Abstract: A picture frame comprised of parts for distribution in kits in which the individual frame members may be precut to size or uncut for making frames of various sizes. The individual frame members have channels on one side thereof which are engageable by resilient securing means to hold the frame members together. Wedge means are also provided to hold pictures of various thicknesses in the assembled frames.
Abstract: A nectarine tree bearing yellow-fleshed clingstone fruit of large size which ripens a minimum of four days before the fruit of the Flamekist (an unpatented variety developed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture) and which has skin having an extensive red skin coloration, typically 60 to 90 percent, and having a very waxy and bright finish.
Abstract: A plum tree bearing fruit which ripens about one week after the Santa Rosa variety (unpatented) and about one week before the El Dorado variety (unpatented), the fruit of the new variety being globose, having a substantially black and uniform skin coloration, and having flesh of a uniform cream coloration.
