    Abstract: An injection mold is disclosed for making an article having a plurality of side walls defining an enclosure. The mold elements during opening and closing of the mold move in a coordinated manner via mechanical interlocks. A first mold section carries plural side wall members that slide between a closed position and an open position. A second mold section interlocks with the side wall members to carry them from their closed to their open position and the side wall members are themselves linked to a stripper ring that strips the article from the mold.
