  • Patent number: 5536353
Abstract: A method and apparatus for forming inspection apertures through the insulation cladding of a containment vessel by forming an opening partly through the cladding which is thereafter lined by an adhered liner. The depth of the liner is less than the thickness of the cladding, thereby precluding heat transfer thereacross. The removed plug of the insulation is then fixed by an adhesive spray about its exterior, and once cured can then be replaced into the liner to recreate substantially identical insulative qualities. On replacement, a bridging cover is adhered across the liner to maintain the weather integrity of the cladding. This cover may be removed on successive occassions to allow for repeated inspection of the vessel walls.

  • Patent number: 5336228
Abstract: A tenaculum useful in obtaining transvaginal manipulative retention of a cervix includes a first forcep piece extending into a forked set of tines offset vertically and then twisted to form an upper set of grasping edges aligned above the axis of the forcep piece for visual access to the cervix. A second forcep piece pivots within the crook between the first tines, flexing the tines inwardly in to course of the pivot, the second piece including a second tine pair at its end which through surface engagement at the pivot are also flexed inwardly. In this manner visual access to the cervix is provided in a structure which reduces in the grasping dimension with closure.

  • Patent number: 5154568
Abstract: A lifting assembly for lifting containers onto rail cars includes a substantially rectangular horizontal frame slidably mounted on vertical hoist assemblies each supported on a tracked undercarriage. The lateral separation between the hoists and the lateral dimensions of the frame are hydraulically adjustable to adjust the alignment of two cantilevered lifting beams which extend from the frame over the undercarriage. An operator housing that rides with the frame provides view exposure to the lifting alignment of the cantilevered beams.

  • Patent number: 4574977
Abstract: A tray of substantially circular form includes a peripheral edge vertically aligned to contain any liquids that may drop thereon. In this form the tray may be used as a drip pan underneath a high chair to trap any spillage that may be incident in the course of feeding a child. The peripheral edge may include a spout along one surface through which collected liquids may be drained and the tray itself may be lined with a removable towel-like cloth which may be periodically cleaned and dried.
