Abstract: A system and method for actively changing the sound perceived by listeners in an audio environment. A single transducer is used as both a sensing microphone and as an output driver. In one embodiment, the invention is implemented as an active noise cancellation system. The sensed noise signals are phase shifted to provide a cancellation effect, combined with the desired audio program signals, and output to the transducer, thereby reducing the level of unwanted noise heard by they listener. In other embodiments, the system can be used to sense the frequency response of a listening room and make appropriate equalization adjustments to the output.

Abstract: In certain embodiments, the present disclosure is directed to a game table that has a plurality of cups that may be automatically moved from a storage position to a playing position. In certain other embodiments, the present disclosure is directed to a game table that has a plurality of cups that may be manually moved from a storage position to a playing position. In certain other embodiments, the present disclosure is directed to devices and methods that allow a user to provide a payment mechanism, and upon the acceptance of the payment mechanism, a game table will move a plurality of cups from a storage position to a playing position. In some embodiments, provision is made for the dispensing of a liquid drink or other reward when predetermined actions occur during play of the game. Although the presently disclosed embodiments will work with any game requiring cups for play, the disclosure makes reference to the game of Beer Pong for convenience of description.
Abstract: A baking additive for enhancing the shelf-life and maintaining the volume of a baked product, and methods for producing and using the same. The baking additive comprises a blend of an non-encapsulated acidulate and an acidulate having a fat-based encapsulating coating that is degradable by heat. The combination of the encapsulated and non-encapsulated provides strategic release of the acidulates throughout the baking process such when the baking additive is added to a dry dough mix, the acidulates can sufficiently decrease the pH of the dry dough mix to prevent microbial contamination without interfering with glutton elasticity or the chemical leavening system.
