Abstract: An on-board oil spill prevention and recovery system for an oil transporting vessel. The system includes a pillow storage container which releasably houses a plurality of sorbent pillows. The container is fixedly attached to said vessel above a hole cut in the deck of the vessel above an oil holding tank thereby permitting the pillows to be selectively released to the interior of the holding tank. The system further includes a sorbent boom selectively deployable in the waters surrounding the vessel.

Abstract: A computer program to serve as a teaching aid in the recognition of the shape of land masses is disclosed. The program generates visual displays of a boundary map of the United States, a boundary map of an individual state and a list of names of states which includes the correct name for the displayed individual state. The user selects a name for the displayed individual state and the computer program audibly indicates whether the selection was correct.

Abstract: A household garbage collection system providing means for pre-sorting of refuse and selective disposal of the sorted garbage. The system generally comprises a conventional type garbage can and a sectional frame assembly disposed on the top of the garbage can, the frame assembly providing means for attachment of a plurality of garbage sacks which may be selectively removed and disposed of.

The device includes a support frame, a cylinder punch assembly, an adjustable cylinder table, a rotatable knob to adjust the table and a trigger-operated nozzle. The punch assembly permits puncture of a cylinder of compressed gas that is supported on the adjustable cylinder table.

Abstract: A portable substitute for the conventional tackle box is provided by the tackle box belt of the present disclosure. The tackle box belt comprises a waist belt to which a plurality of pockets and loop hangers are selectively attached.

Abstract: A continuously variable power transmission comprising rotatable input shaft attachable to rotating power means; rotatable output shaft providing driving axle means; and planetary power transmission train interconnecting said input shaft and said output shaft, said planetary power transmission train including a drive input assembly, a variable pulley assembly and a power control mechanism interconnected in such a manner as to permit alteration of the direction and speed of rotation of said output shaft by varying the drive ratio of the pulleys and the driving-driven relationship of the pulleys.

Abstract: A device for attachment to commercial lawn mowers which provides improved means for collection of spent debris. The device generally includes a debris chute which attaches to the lawn mower at its debris outlet, a gasoline-motor-driven mechanical blower and a debris collection receptacle. First and second sections of flexible tubing are utilized to respectively attach the chute and blower, and the blower and collection receptacle.

Abstract: A balloon closure and hanger device of unitary construction comprising a closure tab and support tab, said closure tab and support tab being integrally constructed at each end of an angularly disposed central portion, said closure tab having slots formed therein for receipt of the stem of an inflated balloon, said support tab having means to mount said device to a ceiling, wall or the like.

Abstract: A portable seating device which permits the user to support the back region of the body with the legs of the user when the user is seated with the buttocks on the ground or floor and legs bent at the knees. The device includes a singular strap which fits about the user's body and across the shins of the legs that is selectively adjustable to facilitate adaptation to different body sizes. The device further includes a padded back support cushion which lays against the upper region of the user's back when worn.

Abstract: A board game is disclosed which includes an octagonal-shaped playing board having a plurality of marked spaces along the periphery of the board and a plurality of casino games disposed in the central portion of the board. The plurality of marked spaces define a path of progression during play and include written or graphic indicia corresponding to selective options and directives for the players. The marked spaces having indicia corresponding to selective options either permit a player to purchase and develop "casinos," or "parking lots,", or to purchase and sell "parking lot supplies," "casino games," or "boardwalk supplies." Marked spaces having indicia corresponding to selective directives either permit a player to collect or require a player to pay token money to another player or the "Bank." Players wager token money at the centrally-disposed casino games when that player's playing piece lands on a casino space. Movement of the playing pieces is by chance, viz. a throw of dice.
