Abstract: The invention relates to a system and process for producing liquid hydrocarbons from a calcium carbonate feed-stock involving (i) liberation of a carbon dioxide gas from the heated calcium carbonate feedstock; (ii) filtering impurities from the extracted carbon dioxide of step (i); (iii) reacting the extracted carbon dioxide obtained in step (i) with a dihydrogen gas to form a methanol feedstock; (iv) isolating the cooled methanol feedstock formed in step (iii); (v) catalytically converting at least part of the methanol feedstock obtained in step (iii) at elevated temperature and pressure into aliphatic and aromatic liquid hydrocarbons; and (vi) isolating the decompressed liquid hydrocarbon product obtained in step (v).

Abstract: A roof access system mounted on a roof having a roof support member, said device being adapted for use with an internal component and an external component. The device includes an enclosure and an access panel providing resealable access to a central aperture located through said enclosure, a channel extending from said aperture to the underlying roof support member and being adapted for receiving tubing extending from said internal component to said connection point. A second tubing section extends from the external component to said connection point, said internal component being in communication with said external component.
Abstract: In an embodiment of the present invention, the foregoing is addressed by providing a combination retaining wall structure and masonry form apparatus comprising a first block having a depending lip with non-linear edge, a second block having an upper surface with a recess presenting an inwardly facing edge, the second block being positioned with respect to a rotational axis through the first block. A zone of contact is located at the intersection of the inwardly facing edge and the outwardly facing edge, providing an area for rotation of the first block about the rotational axis of the second block. The first and second blocks forming a non-linear masonry wall structure having an upright axis, about which plural blocks may be rotated. The depending lip and recess being provided by a masonry form having a first, second, third and fourth sides, the first and second sides being removable for interchangeably configuring the first and second block.

Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method for manually balancing the volume of air supplied through at least one duct to a conditioned space the system including a damper rotatably mounted within the air duct by a damper shaft having a first and second ends, an electronic pulse actuator responsive to an electronic pulse being associated with the first end, a housing associated with the electronic pulse actuator is generally adapted for operably connecting the electronic pulse actuator to the air duct and a remote positioning unit in electric communication with the electronic pulse actuator where the damper is rotated between an open and a closed position for manually balancing the conditioned space to receive the desired volume of air.
Abstract: A storage device including a cap, an outer container, an inner container, a storage structure and a theft prevention mechanism associated with the outer and inner containers. The outer container includes an outer sidewall and a top, the inner container includes an inner sidewall and a bottom. The storage structure includes an upper structure, a lower structure and an inner sidewall structure corresponding to said top, bottom and inner sidewall respectively which is generally adapted to receive valuables. Additionally, the present invention includes a method for storing valuables including providing an inner and outer container configured to simulate a vehicle accessory, positioning the theft prevention mechanism between said inner and outer containers, biasing said theft prevention mechanism in an unlatched condition, opening said containers, storing valuables within said inner container, closing said containers and latching said inner and outer containers by operating said theft prevention mechanism.
Abstract: Systems, methods, distributed networks, and computer-readable media are provided that relate to recruiting and employment services. Background information associated with talent-capability attributes is received from talent. Job description information is received from employers. Prospective matches are identified between employers and talent, and employers and talent are given an opportunity to consent to exchange of talent contact information.
Abstract: A washer tossing game for players to score the tossing of projectiles, including a storage container comprised of plural receiving boxes at least two of which are positioned in juxtaposed positions each box having a receiver base for receiving a removable center section, the removable center section being adapted to receive plural tossed projectiles. Alternatively, the game may include beveled center sections which are received by the receiver bases. Optionally, the game can include alternative center sections, allowing the game to be adapted to varying skill levels. In addition, the game may optionally include additional features including visual highlights, protective sidewall curbing and impact resistant lining to protect the boxes from the impact of the thrown projectiles. A carrying case and a handle may also be provided allowing the game to be easily transported.
Abstract: A weapon 1 peripherally discharging projectiles 2a-2n, normally ball bearings, at sustained high rates under centrifugal force has at least one member 11 rotating within a housing, or guide track, 10. Each rotating member 11 has at least one channel, or track, 16 with a radial component within which projectiles 2a-2n received near the center of rotation progress radially outwards until first escaping at 19, and then being ejected at X, under centrifugal force at the periphery of the at least one rotating member 11. A projectile release mechanism controls the timing, locations, and numbers of projectiles released per rotation of the at least one rotating member.
Abstract: The invention described includes an osteoendoscopic cylinder for tamponading bleeding along a longitudinal canal surface of an osteocentral canal of a femoral neck so as to allow endoscopic visualization of a segment of osteonecrotic bone within a femoral head. The osteoendoscopic cylinder is of a dimension adapted to receive an endoscope therein and includes an inner visual surface and an outer bony contact surface. An orientation mark along the inner visual surface is of a size and dimension to ensure a first visualization thereof with the endoscope. The first visualization is of an effect to allow spatial orientation of the endoscope within the femoral head. A side opening proximally situated thereabout a proximal handle end is of a size and dimension adapted to mount a vacuum apparatus comprising of a transparent tube.
Abstract: A walled structure apparatus generally orientated perpendicular to a horizontal surface, the apparatus including a first panel with a major plane, a corner and a notch, a second panel with a major plane, a corner and a tab received with the notch, and a hinge structure within the notch. The hinge structure generally uniting the panels for movement to a number of selected positions and includes interengaged flexible components permitting inward and outward movement and being generally located within the notch and tab. Through this movement, the walled structure apparatus exhibits a deformed structure.
Abstract: An automotive coupling device adapted for use with a towing vehicle having a standard towing connector including a tubular insert with a distal and a proximate end, the distal end adapted for receipt by the towing connector. A locking element for securely locking the insert to the towing connector is also provided along with an elongated strap extending from the insert to a towed vehicle. The elongated strap includes a first and second end, the first end connected to the insert and the second end adapted for connection to the towed vehicle.
