Abstract: A lampshade adapted to be interconvertible between an assembled configuration having a first volume and a knockdown configuration having a second, smaller volume comprises lampshade segments connected to rotational elements. Slotting means on preselected rotational elements position the connecting members to assume predetermined positions with respect to the common axis, where the rotational elements are locked in place. Methods for use of the lampshade in knockdown shipping, and kits containing the lampshade and instructional materials are also taught.
Abstract: A flexible grip, the right materials and a reusable and environmentally friendly molded, injected, sprayed, layered or painted coating an ultimately consumer friendly apparatus, having memory, absorbency and low cost can be offered for consideration. According to a preferred embodiment, FLEX GRIP® apparatus, system and method functions with articles including any and all beverage containers to mitigate and/or preclude undesired transmission of liquids by selectively absorbing the same in an open celled medium bordered by a waterproofed layer. In a particularly preferred embodiment dimensional sizing is featured to fixingly and matingly engage, and completely cover a bottom-portion and selected side portions of, for example, a pint glass.
Abstract: A dilation catheter device comprising a shroud tube having a total preselected diameter effective for use in a preselected body lumen, the shroud tube having a strain relief tube extending therethrough which is adapted to reversibly form a flared, funnel-shape and a collapsed shape for contacting the surface of a dilation balloon, whereby the configuration of the balloon can be altered by altering the position of contact of the distal end of the strain relief tube with the surface of the balloon. Methods for use of the device and articles of manufacture containing the device are also taught.
Abstract: A lamp structure device adapted for shipping in a knockdown state is disclosed, wherein a lamppost comprises at least two tubular segments longitudinally interconnected by at least one connector. The connector comprises a cylindrical male member adapted for insertion into an elongated female member. A groove and a nib are adapted to cammingly urge the male member and the female member longitudinally together upon rotation with respect to each other. Methods for use of the device in knockdown shipping, and kits containing the device and instructional materials are also taught.
