Abstract: Apparatus for joining cohesive coated plastic sheets in a closed peripheral pattern with bulging of at least one sheet within the closed peripheral pattern to provide a sealed compartment containing only a gas such as air, or foam, under superatmospheric pressure. A method for forming a sealed bulging compartment containing substantially only a gas at superatmospheric pressure comprises joining two cohesive material coated sheets by engagement of said portions of said cohesive material coating at a closed periphery while causing at least one of the sheets to be bulged by gas at superatmospheric pressure. A bulging sealed cushion formed of two sheets each coated on one side with cohesive, air impervious material, at least one of the sheets being bulged outward, and containing substantially only a gas at superatmospheric pressure.

Abstract: To fasten a vertical support column (14) for example of a stand-up desk (16, 18) to an article of furniture, for example a writing desk (10, 12), textile adhesive closures (22, 24) are used. Support column (14) is fastened to desktop (10) of the desk by a textile adhesive closure (22, 24). Another textile adhesive closure can serve as a second fastening point to prevent support column (14) from tilting.

Abstract: A non-specific therapeutic polyvalent vaccine for subcutaneous injection containing a minimum combination of a PPD (tuberculin vaccine), a rabies vaccine, and snake venom vaccine and preferably including at least a DTP vaccine in addition and optimally a mumps antigen vaccine and Dermatophytin vaccine in controlled levels, all such constituent vaccines being commercially available. The vaccine provides a broad-based stimulation or potentiation of the immuno-defense system of the patient and is useful for the symptomatic relief and/or mitigation of diseases of viral origin, such as Herpes Zoster, labialis and genitalis, various neuralgias, mumps, measles, viral hepatitis, psoriasis and severe acne, or of autoimmune origin, such as multiple sclerosis and arthritis.
