Abstract: An automobile security device includes an enclosing housing mounted to a roof of a vehicle. An erectable, pivoting mooring post is located within the housing. A motion control and power delivery system erects the mooring post upon activation providing power and control to devices mounted to the post. Means are provided for activating and controlling the control system. Various surveillance devices are mounted to the mooring post including a video camera, a lighting system to illuminate an area surrounding the vehicle and sound recording equipment to record sounds adjacent the vehicle. The means for activating and controlling the motion control and power delivery system includes manual controls located within the vehicle, a wireless remote control, timing systems linked to starting and turning off of the vehicle electrical system and sound and motion detectors located on the vehicle. The system is provided as original equipment and as an after market product.
Abstract: A grinding machine wherein coarse and fine grind wheels are mounted to a single rotating spindle. A multiple grind wheel mount is attached to the lower portion of the rotating spindle, the coarse and fine wheels being supported by the wheel mount, the wheel mount containing the mechanism for moving the inner coarse wheel down relative to the stationary outer fine wheel.
Abstract: A training device for use with a golf club, an elongated member enabling the device to be mounted on the grip of a golf club, the member having an inner cavity shaped to the matching surface of the grip surface. A positioner member is engaged with a post which is substantially perpendicular to the top surface of the elongated member, the height of the locking member being adjustable to accommodate the hand size of the golfer. A disc member is attached to the positioner member, the golfer's hand being positioned between the elongated member and the disc member. An adjustable wrap around lock is positioned at the end of the elongated member spaced from the post and is adjustable such that the training device can fit onto various sized grips and to be secured thereto.
Abstract: A training device for use with a golf club. A cylindrical shaped member enables the device to be mounted on the grip of a golf club, the member having an inner cavity tapered to the matching angle of the grip surface and a cutout portion formed along a portion of the length of the device. A self-locking member is engaged with a post which is substantially perpendicular to the top surface of the mounting member, the height of the locking member being adjustable to accommodate the hand size of the golfer. A plurality of rib members formed at the bottom of the post allows the post diameter to be reduced while increasing post stabilization thus allowing the post to be smaller in diameter and longer in length.
Abstract: Circuit configurations for controlling an AC motor drive system wherein the control systems include redundancy features to compensate for possible failed system components.

Abstract: An improved scent transfer device for collecting evidence at a crime scene. The device comprises a gas cartridge coupled to an air valve. A holder having a sterile pad positioned therein is secured to one end of a housing containing said air valve by locking protrusions. When gas from the cartridge is expelled into the air valve, a vacuum is created at the end of where the pad holder is attached when a switch is pressed, enabling a user to collect the scent on the pad. The pad can then be removed and stored in an evidence bag. An extension member which locks into the holder can be utilized to extend the capabilities of the device.
Abstract: A training device for use with a golf club. A mounting member enables the device to be mounted on the grip of a golf club. A positioning member is threadly engaged with a threaded post which is substantially perpendicular to the top surface of the mounting, the height of the positioner being adjustable to accommodate the hand size of the golfer.
Abstract: A reconfigurable power system that includes a gas turbine, flywheel, a first electric machine coupled to the gas turbine, a second electric machine coupled to the flywheel, the first and second electric machines being substantially similar in configuration, a first power device for coupling power from the first electric machine to a power grid, a second power device coupled to the second electric machine for driving the flywheel and coupling power from the second electric machine to the power grid, and a switch for coupling either the power generated by the first electric machine or the second electric machine to the grid.

Abstract: A reusable special effects audible and visual fireball generator device which comprises a cylindrical main housing having end caps mounted at each end. A gas container is positioned within the housing and a knife blade is mounted within the housing adjacent one end cap. A holder containing a predetermined amount of black sporting powder is secured within the housing adjacent the other end cap. When the black sporting powder is ignited, the gas container is forced against the knife blade, rupturing the tank. The released liquid gas mixes with air and the black sporting powder igniting the mixture and providing a fireball effect.
Abstract: A fireball generator device comprising a steel cylindrical main housing having first and second threaded end caps. A shotgun shell is encased in a barrel member and locked in place with a screw-on housing. When the shell is fired, the gases expelled by the shell push a knife blade forward into a gas container positioned within the main housing. The moving knife blade ruptures the gas container and the gas therein escapes and the powder gas from the shotgun shell ignites the gas escaping from the container creating various visual effects, such as a fireball.
Abstract: A fitted glove structure that incorporates a molded rubber palm piece that has a portion which extends over certain of the glove fingertips to the back piece in a manner to increase wearer comfort and protection and to enhance the object pick up capabilities of the glove.
