Abstract: A pool water regulator has two vertical pipes which indicate the pool water level. Each pipe has a floating element disposed therein, and each float element has a switch secured to a distal end protruding from the vertical pipes. Brackets are mounted adjacent the switches so that as the float elements rise and fall, the switches are turned ON and OFF thereby activating either pool draining or pool filling means.
Abstract: An adjustable writing desk, storage and entertainment center apparatus attachable to the head of a bed to provide bedridden patients with easy access to writing materials, a writing surface and privacy in viewing television and listening to radio and recorded music by enclosing the patient's head and upper torso within the apparatus which is equipped with sound insulation.

Abstract: The invention provides a protective sleeve for drill pipes used for the drilling of deep wells in the ground for the recovery of oil, natural gas or similar, this protective sleeve being attachable in the connection area of the individual drill pipe rods and comprising a resilient inner part in the form of a ring part and a protective covering of a flexible and/or elastic material surrounding this inner part, characterized by this protective sleeve comprising two half shells with tension claws on the inside and spring segments on the outside adapted to be, joined together in a hinge-like fashion to form a closed ring.
