Abstract: The method of the invention is mainly intended for studying biological objects, and in particular cervical secretion of cows for the purposes of the pregnancy diagnosis. The method comprises the step of passing through the object being tested of such a short-term current pulse that the total amount of electricity passed through the object during the measurement should not exceed 1.35.10.sup.-.sup.3 C, with a permissible error of the measurement being .+-.2.5%. The apparatus comprises a current pulse relaxation generator, measuring electrodes and a capacitor which memorizes the current passed through the object being tested and is coupled to a current indicator.
