  • Patent number: 4860911
Abstract: A further modification of the invention of U.S. Ser. No. 06/649,522 below discloses a closed multi purpose product container suitable for heavy duty transportation of commodity products by railroad flat cars, freight ships and land motor truck powered trailers. The modification of a full top opening has two intersecting hinged flat rigid top lids and can have side flaps extending the container length. Each one-half flat hinged lid can open and hinge from one of the opposed two long flat rigid side walls. A pair of an opposed front end wall and a hinged rear end wall door can have end wall load reinforcement designed to prevent the container end walls from bowing and deforming in shape during the acceleration and deceleration of the loaded cargo container, during the starting and stopping of a loaded train having the product containers disposed on the flat cars of the train.

  • Patent number: 4852223
Abstract: A cord clamp provides a device for securing shoe laces, belts and tie cords with advertising possibilities. The cord clamp has a thin uniform thickness wall elastomeric hemisphere of a plastic composition, with a centrally disposed post radially projecting integrally inwardly. A central first aperture pierces the post, the first aperture being disposed in and through the post parallel to the hemisphere diameter, the post having a length disposed just short of the sphere radius length. The hemisphere wall has an interiorly disposed recessed groove therein, adjacent and around the hemisphere edge. A rigid, thin circular plate has a second central aperture disposed there through which allows the encompassing hemisphere to be inwardly flexed and the short post to move through the second aperture positioned in the circular plate.

  • Patent number: 4554074
Abstract: A separator for multiple phase fluids has a unitary fluid separator box formed as a single metal plenary chamber, and alternatively as a simple fluid distribution box of a single plastic form. Each of the single plenum chamber branching channel box has a top fluid constricting support plate and a bottom support plate, with an inlet fluid channel which branches to a first pair of channels having each channel cross section equal to the single inlet channel, the first pair of channels each branching to a second pair of channels, also each having the inlet channel cross section, the second pair of channels can also each have a third pair of channels of outlet channel cross section, and so on. The inlet channel turbulent fluid flow is transformed by multiple dual channel splitting and flow into a substantially laminar fluid flow, allowing phase separations.

  • Patent number: 4170065
Abstract: A flat sheet annular ring has a first exterior circular perimeter and a concentric interior circular perimeter. The annular ring has the 360 circular degree compass scale indicia disposed thereon, at least adjacent to the ring interior circular perimeter, with appropriate compass one degree (1.degree.) intervals. A single flat sheet circular inner disc, having a second exterior perimeter, is disposed inside the interior circular perimeter of the ring, having a snug rotatable fit in the ring. The single disc has at least one set of multiple narrow width linear parallel slots disposed through the thickness of the disc. The at least one set of multiple parallel slots are disposed symmetrically about the center of the single inner disc. A center aperture marks the disc center, sized to accept an indicia marker tip.

  • Patent number: 4150528
Abstract: A gardening rake useful for raking leaves, garden refuse and the like, has a pair of parallel rows of rake tines disposed in a U-channel rake header. The pair of parallel rows of rake tines are formed of multiple tine pairs of spring metal strips formed in a U-shape, and secured at the tine pair U-base to a single common tine frame support. The tine frame support has a handle means useful for adjusting and adapting the length of the flexible spring metal tines to the desired overall spring stiffness for a specific raking operation.
