Abstract: A composite sheet material for use as a portion of a tear away fastening system. The sheet material includes a substrate layer and yarns extending through the substrate layer such that the define an arrangement of looped elements projecting away from one side of the substrate layer. The looped elements are interconnected by portions of the yarns disposed across the other side of the substrate layer. A backing layer is disposed in overlying relation to the substrate layer to hold the yarns in place.

Abstract: A dryer seal. The seal is formed from an elongate multi-layer structure having a strip of fibrous material folded upon itself to establish a folded perimeter edge and a pair of outwardly projecting portions projecting away from the folded perimeter edge. A fibrous interior spacer layer is located between the outwardly projecting portions and a single attachment seam extends at an inboard location substantially parallel to said folded perimeter edge.

Abstract: A multidimensional camouflage outer wear garment system including garments made of various combinations of two-dimensional and three-dimensional camouflage material. The two-dimensional and three-dimensional camouflage materials are positioned within garments so as to distort the smooth line silhouette of the wearer, thereby enhancing the total effectiveness of the camouflage. Zones of three-dimensional material are disposed across limited selected regions of the garments to maintain continuity of silhouette distortion while two-dimensional material is disposed over predefined extended regions adjacent the zones of three-dimensional material.

Abstract: A spring hinge including a pair of hinge leaves having hollow knuckles on adjacent hinges which are arranged in substantially axial alignment such that the hollow knuckles comprise segments of a hinge barrel. A torsion spring made up of a resilient coiled spring member is housed within the hinge barrel. First and second pintles are disposed at opposing ends of the hinge barrel and extend into and between axially aligned knuckles of the hinge leaves. The first and second pintles each engaging the spring member in a locked arrangement such that the spring member extends in a substantially locked relation between the first and second pintles.
