Abstract: A foodstuff lifter for slow cooker units which units are normally of deep sided configuration. The lifter includes a lower, footed, rack member and an upper ring member which members are attached through flexible links or through solid links which permit collapse of the members into substantially flat condition after the foodstuff has been removed from the cooking unit or similarly for storage or shipping.
Abstract: A cage for display of and storage of reels of cable, wire, chain, rope and the like having a six sided, wire formed arrangement with the sides thereof providing bearings for an axle upon which the reel rotates for material removal, a movable back section which is biased to provide a brake against free reel rotation and thus uncoiling of the material, a top and bottom and a front with the front providing a pricing or information section and an end receiving element to receive and removeably retain the end of the material during nonuse. The movable back not only acts as a brake but also allows reel mounting without having to physically lift the reel. The cage is also arranged for stacking of like cages.
Abstract: A rack system for mounting, displaying and dispensing of spooled cable, wire, chain, rope and the like including a longitudinally extending mounting bar to receive dual reel axle ends for mounting of a reel therebetween or receiving a continuous, multiple or individual axles for mounting a number of reels, at least one spring brake arranged to mount on the mounting bar to work and brake against the spooled material, an adjustable stop bar independently carried to prevent natural spring uncoiling despooling of the material from the reel and a display panel integral with the mounting bar for material identification. The rack provides a unit which allows for ease of individual reel removal, service or replacement; a compact, inherently neat and safe display area and a unit that may be free standing or wall mounted.
Abstract: A molded cup having an upwardly directed article receiving area on the bottom surface thereof to receive an article therein with a cover provided over such area to normally retain the article. The cover provides the primary retention for the article and the cover is openable or removeable from the cup for access to the article. The cup is normally self supporting to remain in upright position after removal of the cover to allow its continued use as a cup. The cover is transparent to allow a person to ascertain the contents being retained. A stop arrangement is provided to prevent one cup from possibly damaging or breaking the cover on the bottom of a nested cup.
Abstract: A unit for cushioning and at least partially absorbing shock motions for use with marine or water equipment whereby wave and water motion is absorbed to eliminate shock wave effects. The unit includes a tension spring device extensible upon movement of the marine device for which cushioning is desired with the extension being to a limited amount and thereafter provide tight line or direct connection for uses such as retrieving an anchor or pulling in a moored boat. The unit is useable in anchoring boats and other objects in various desired positions where the desired effect is a smooth ride upon the water surface.

Abstract: A device for rapid intubation of devices into internal human passages for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. The device includes a conduit surrounded by a thin walled, inflatable and longitudinally and radially expandable member which will initially drive the device into the selected passages such as the lower bowel, colon, esophagus or upper bowel. Controlled inflation of such member provides the driving, positioning force for proper intubation even through particularly difficult transition portions of the selected passage. Partial or total deflation of the expandable member allows sealing for therapeutic utilization, evacuation of the passage for passage inspection or combinations of such useages. The device is easily adapted to accomodate diagnostic or treatment devices while allowing cooperative control thereof exteriorally of the body.
Abstract: A structure for three wheeled vehicles such that when the front handle bars are turned either the frame will be tilted in the direction of the turn or the wheels will be tilted parallely into the direction of the turn by providing in one form a means for rotatably mounting the frame upon a solid rear axle of the vehicle and in a second form by providing means to shift a pair of independent rotatably mounted axles to permit the wheels to be directed into the direction of the turn. In either situation the turning of the handle bars and the front wheel controls the attitude of the frame or the attitude of the wheels such that the unit will more easily corner or turn and thus decrease the possibility of tipping over.
