Abstract: Mid-UV dyes enabling ultra thin antireflection coatings for multi-layer i-line photoetching are produced from bichalcones; bis-a-cyanoacrylates/bis-cyanoacrylamides; and 1.4 divinylbenzenes. The dyes are nonsubliminal and differentially insoluble in standard photoresist solvents.

Abstract: The invention is a mechanism for the streamwise deployment of an aircraft trailing or leading edge flap. The mechanism connects the spar and flap. There are a pair of swivel links which pivotally connect the spar to the flap. There are also a pair of slaving mechanisms which rotationally connect the spar to the flap by spherical bearings. A linear flap actuator initiates the combined pivotal and rotational action from the spar which translates into a single downward and rearward motion of the flap.
Abstract: The invention is a method and apparatus for a geographical trivia boardgame for learning about a state. The apparatus consists of a gameboard with a state map affixed thereon. The state map is divided into city regions. The players also are provided a score sheet and trivia cards. The players may place individual game pieces on the map after successfully locating the city name and answering a trivia question located on a trivia card. Points are also awarded and recorded on the score sheet.
Abstract: The invention is a brush for cleaning and polishing teeth while stimulating the gums. The invention consists of a handle with an integral head. The head has a flat surface with a plurality of recessed sockets. Affixed within the recessed sockets are the stimulator rods surrounded by bristles and polishing rods surrounded by bristles.
Abstract: Adhesive bandages having a peripherally-raised non-adhesive thin-layer bordering the adhesive surface of such bandages is disclosed. The non-adhesive thin-layer inhibits formation of dirt rings which would otherwise remain when the adhesive bandage is removed from human skin.
Abstract: A smart structure egress channel is disclosed that provides a central location for multiple embedded sensors to come together and then exit the structure. A plurality of holes allow sensors to enter the channel. A communication connector provides an exit point for sensor transmittal. Maintenance of the various devices within the smart structure egress channel is possible through an access cover and access extension which extends above the channel. The exterior shape of the channel is designed to function within a primary load-carrying structural member such as a composite structure within a modern aircraft.
