  • Patent number: 7757909
Abstract: A garment hanger for lingerie. The hanger includes a hook, an elongate body suspended below the hook and engaging members at the ends of the body. Each engaging member includes a one first leg flexibly connected at one end to the body and at the other end to a second leg. As a result the two legs and the body form an S-shape that acts as a spring to maintain tension in front display portion of the garment hung on the hanger. The engaging member also ensures that any excess material of the garment not forming part of the display portion is held out of view at the back.

  • Patent number: 7759908
Abstract: An electronic device identification system includes a rectifier bridge for providing an output DC voltage of fixed polarity from an input DC voltage of a corresponding or reverse polarity. The system further includes an identification component coupled across an input to the rectifier bridge. This enables identification of the identification component value via electrical detection circuitry applied to the input to the rectifier bridge.

  • Patent number: 7757183
Abstract: A system and a method are described for allowing a user to generate a timeline and display patient data with varying time intervals. The time intervals can range from a few minutes to several hours. By allowing a user to select start time and end time when a time interval change occurs, the time interval change is applied to a selected portion or duration of the timeline rather than the full length. Also multiple time intervals may be selected and applied to the patient data.

  • Patent number: 7703511
Abstract: A pressure barrier apparatus 2 for providing a removable pressure barrier in a borehole is described. The apparatus comprises a housing 6, 8 defining a central bore 10 having a first part 20 and a second part 22 separated by an erodeable pressure barrier member 18. The housing also defines a second fluid flow passage 12 for connecting the first part to the second part, and a plurality of conduits 24 for directing fluid onto the barrier member. A sleeve 30 has a first condition in which fluid communication between the first part 20 and the second fluid flow passage 12 is prevented, and a second condition in which fluid is permitted to flow from the first part to the second fluid flow passage to cause erosion of the barrier member.

  • Patent number: 7649889
Abstract: A system and a process for a session layer protocol allows a large number of client machines to receive a reliable data stream over inherently unreliable multicast connections in a highly efficient and scalable manner. More specifically, streaming of high-quality video, audio, stock and news tickers, or any other application specific data that requires a reliable data stream is described. The streaming allows for the source to instruct individuals to drop their connection to the stream to prevent noisy individuals from disrupting the operating efficiency of the stream.

  • Patent number: 7637231
Abstract: An animal halter 102 has a muzzle loop 104 adapted to fit over the upper and lower jaws of an animal such as a dog. The animal halter 102 also comprises a collar loop 108 for attachment around the neck of the dog. The halter 102 is formed from a single piece of fabric looped in a figure of eight configuration and threaded through forward control ring 116 and a second ring 117. Second ring 117 has a smaller diameter than forward control ring 116 to prevent the forward control ring 116 from passing through the second ring 117. When an animal to which the halter is attached pulls on the halter against a lead, rings 116 and 117 tend to lock the halter fabric therebetween such that the respective sizes of the muzzle loop 104 and collar loop 108 do not change.

  • Patent number: 7623990
Abstract: A system for reducing signal interference in modulated signal communication includes a measurement processor. The measurement processor measures amplitudes of noise components of a received amplitude modulated signal prior to demodulation. The measurement processor also identifies a frequency of a noise component having an amplitude larger than the amplitude of another noise component. A carrier frequency generator generates a carrier frequency substantially at a harmonic of the identified noise component. The carrier frequency is used to generate and demodulate the amplitude modulated signal.

  • Patent number: 7619904
Abstract: A pulse signal drive circuit includes an energy storage device. A source of energy supplies a substantially constant flow of energy to the energy storage device. A switch circuit draws repetitive pulses of substantially constant energy from the energy storage device to generate corresponding pulse drive signals.

  • Patent number: 7607740
Abstract: A wheel assembly for a vehicle such as a tractor is disclosed. The assembly comprises a wheel rim (10) for supporting a tire, a nave plate (11) mounted to the rim, and a drive plate (21) mounted to an axle flange (26). A torque ring (18) has first key ways (16, 17) for cooperating with first keys (14, 15) on nave plate (11), and second key ways (19, 20) for cooperating with second keys (22, 23) on drive plate (21). In this way, torque and radial and axial forces are transferred between the drive plate (21) and nave plate (11), but radial or axial forces, tending to remove the assembly from the axle, and exceeding respective predetermined levels, are prevented from being transferred from the nave plate (11) to the axle.

  • Patent number: 7599802
Abstract: A system for producing virtual offspring including means for acquiring genetic material from users. The system further includes means for analyzing the acquired genetic material for determining at least one trait corresponding to the genetic material. A user database stores user data representing the at least one trait for each respective one of the users. A search mechanism allows the users to search the stored user data for users having at least one desirable trait. The system also includes means for virtually combining genetic material of a first user with genetic material of a selected second user for producing a virtual offspring. The first user inputs the at least one desirable trait into the searching mechanism and the searching mechanism retrieves users having the at least one input desired trait.

  • Patent number: 7590551
Abstract: A system and method for displaying medical information derived from a plurality of sources is described. Medical data associated with a patient are acquired from at least one of the plurality of sources on the network. The acquired data are prioritized for display in a desired order and/or time frame. A menu generator is used for generating a composite window for displaying the ordered acquired data in a first window together with at least one of user-entered medical notes, medical laboratory results and ventilator data in a second window.
