Abstract: A tree-trimming and phoning machine has a cutter bar (2) with a plurality of in-line-staggered rotary cutter blades (1) that are rotated by a separate hydraulic motor (12) for each one of the plurality of the rotary cutter blades. A resulting plurality of blade-turning hydraulic motors (12) are connected in series to a hydraulic-motor line 15. Hydraulic relief lines (23) are in pressure-spike-relief communication between hydraulic-motor lines (1 5) intermediate the hydraulic motors (12) and a hydraulic manifold or header (24). The cutter bar is attachable to a single side or to both sides of a hydraulic lifting means (5) such as employed for standard front-end loaders, fork lifts and other lifting means that are attachable to a vehicle (6) such as a tractor. The hydraulic lifting means is maneuverable university to select positions of trimming, pruning and cutting-load dumping.
Abstract: A dynamic landfill recycling system has wheels attachable to a plurality of refuse processing sections in one or more semi-trailer or other vehicular units. A refuse receiving section has a dump bed or one or more vehicular refuse bins to accept new refuse from refuse trucks or optionally to accept old refuse from old refuse sites for processing, A primary conveyor belt is slanted upwardly towards a vibratory feeder. The primary conveyor is rotated rapidly to throw the refuse in an arc onto the vibratory feeder where the throwing action causes the refuse to spread out as it falls. The vibratory feeder is slanted downwardly at an angle which causes vibrated refuse to fall towards a bottom end and a bag cutter that is positioned above and intermediately between ends of the vibratory feeder to further expose and scatter the refuse on the vibratory feeder. A magnetic separator belt conveys the scattered refuse upwardly to a magnetic pulley wheel which separates ferrous from non-ferrous materials.
Abstract: A wheel-block lock has a chock on a chock end of a lock rod that is lockable in a lock sleeve. The lock sleeve is attached to a lug-cover shaft with a lug cover that is lockable onto a locking foot that is attached to a wheel with a lug nut. A single lock is employed to lock all parts of each lock unit together centrally. The wheel chock in select forms is positioned to be supported against a tire on the wheel to prevent rotation of the wheel. Two lock sleeves can be used on the same lock rod for attachment to two lug bolts. Either a padlock or a tumbler lock can be used for locking one or two wheel-block locks onto a wheel.
Abstract: A room security system has a deterrent sprayer positioned on a ceiling of a room selectively inward and in front of an entryway to the room. A spray nozzle of the deterrent sprayer is directed at nose height of an average or anticipated person and adjustable to diverge conically to about three-to-six feet in diameter at a point of contact with the person after partial entry through the entryway. A position slightly on an open side of the entryway can be selected on a ceiling for an entryway with a closure that opens on side hinges like a conventional door. A position directly in front of the entryway can be selected for an entryway with a closure that slides vertically or horizontally like some windows and doors. A trip of the deterrent sprayer and/or other security devices can be actuated and an actuation signal transmitted by mechanical, electrical, electronic, light, magnetic or gaseous means in working relationship with the closure and the entryway.
Abstract: An aroma generator has a toroidal incense container with a toroidal channel and cylindrical walls. A toroidal channel floor is extended in a plane perpendicular to an axis that is common to the cylindrical walls of the toroidal channel. A bulb-attachment wall having a central bulb orifice is extended inward radially at a design distance from a base of the toroidal incense container. A cover plate is held in a covering position over the toroidal channel by attachment appendages on a cylindrical attachment sleeve. At least one attachment appendage is extended outward radially from a distal end of the cylindrical attachment sleeve and positioned in at least one arcuate attachment channel in an outside surface of the inside cylindrical wall for attachment of the cover plate to the aroma generator. A plurality of spacer ridges are extended radially from the cover plate to provide aroma-discharge passages between the cover plate and top edges of the toroidal channel.
Abstract: A smoke-detector security cover has a toroidal base plate attachable to a wall or ceiling surrounding a smoke detector. A toroidal cover plate having a plurality of retainer appendages extended inward radially is connected to the toroidal base plate to cover portions of the smoke detector circumferentially external from a central smoke-detection section of the smoke detector. Attachment rods are extended perpendicularly from the base plate towards the cover plate. Attachment sleeves are extended perpendicularly from the cover plate in sliding contact with the attachment rods telescopically. An anti-theft fastener means is provided in fastener relationship between at least one attachment rod and one attachment sleeve. The anti-theft fastener means can be a split attachment bolt that is tightened in an attachment sleeve with a tapered fastener head or tapered fastener shank. The fastener has an anti-theft head. The anti-theft head can be recessed to further deter unauthorized removal.
Abstract: A personal communication shoulder holster has a soft, flexible shoulder strap which encircles the shoulder with a size and shape to support side carriage of a small soft communication case under a user's arm. The shoulder strap is adjustable in length and has resilient sections for adjustment and adaptability to body movement. Extended from the shoulder strap at a moveable position is an adjustable and pliant suspender strap which crosses the back and then goes over the other shoulder and clown the front of a user to a belt-hooking position at an opposite side from the communication case. The communication case is suspended from a bottom of the shoulder strap. An adjustable and pliant tie-down strap is suspended from a bottom of the communication case to a belt-hooking position. A flexible belt is provided for use with clothing that does not have a belt or edge at a waistline for attachment of the suspender strap and tie-down strap.
Abstract: A camera quick release has a fastener axle that can be inserted into a fastener orifice in a fastener housing where a side-grip fastener lock is spring-pressured against a cylindrical wall of the fastener axle to hold the fastener axle circumferentially and linearly in a set position. The side-grip fastener lock is releasable by hand-squeezing a latch handle and a housing handle which combine to form a squeeze-handle. With the fastener lock released, the fastener axle attached to the camera or other instrument can be rotated as far or as little as desired to a different circumferential setting or it can be removed linearly for removal of the camera or other instrument. The fastener axle has a fastener bolt that is threadable into a camera-attachment bolt hole where it can be secured with a convenient thread-locking means.
Abstract: A high torque, thin walled guiding catheter has resilient reinforcement material (8, 23, 29, 70, 73) integrally spiraled or braided into monolithic walls (21) of flexible material. A solid lubricant, also referred to as dry lubricant, comprised of either special fluorine containing materials or polymeric organic silicon compounds is embedded into interior and exterior wall surfaces of the catheters. Smooth interior walls (11) are channeled (10) to decrease friction resistance, to trap resistance particles and to dissipate friction heat in the high ratio of surface area to cross-sectional area of small catheters. Number of spirals or braids of reinforcement strands per unit of length, number of layers of strands of the catheters, catheter diameter and progressiveness thereof are designedly different for separate portions of particular catheters. Catheter tips (6) are weldable immediately adjacent to select density of strands of reinforcement material. Perfusion ports are weldable where desired.
