Abstract: A hydrosilylation (polyaddition)-vulcanizing elastomer silicone composition, including (a) a vinylated polyorganosiloxane (POS), (b) at least one hydrogenated POS, (c) a platinum catalyst, (d) optionally a coupling agent, (e) optionally a mineral filler, (f) optionally a crosslinking inhibitor, and optionally a POS resin and functional additives. The composition has a dynamic viscosity between 1,000 and 7,000 mPa·s, at 25° C. before crosslinking and, after overall crosslinking by thermal effect has at least one of the following properties: a Shore A hardness of at least 2, a breaking strength of at least 0.5 N·mm?1, and a breaking elongation of at least 50%. Also disclosed is a composite which is fully impregnated by means of a 100% bicomponent (RTV-2) silicone liquid.

Abstract: A solar collector including a plurality of hollow tubes, each tube directly joined, or indirectly joined by a web, to an adjacent tube; a first manifold connected to a first end of each tube; a second manifold connected to a second end of each tube; where at least two adjacent tubes are separated along a portion of their length so as to form a first section in which adjacent tubes are separated from one another and a second segment in which adjacent tubes are joined to one another. Abstract: A homogeneous bioassay including a first group labelled with an energy donor and a second group labelled with an energy acceptor, where the donor is a luminescent lanthanide label capable of up-converting a lower-energy excitation to a higher-energy emission, where the acceptor is either a luminescent or a non-luminescent label, and where the increase or decrease, respectively, in energy transfer from the donor to the acceptor resulting from shortening or lengthening of the distance between the labels is measured. The assay is performed in a biological fluid which absorbs radiation in the wavelength range 300 to 600 nm, the measurement is carried out at a wavelength >570 nm, and the donor label, which is excitable at wavelength longer than its emission wavelength, is excited in the wavelength window in which the biological fluid does not essentially absorb the excitation radiation.
Abstract: Contactless label designed to ensure the traceability of an object featuring a microcircuit (16) and a Y-shaped dipole antenna connected to the microcircuit, which contains information necessary for tracing the object, which can be read with a reader through the exchange of ultra high frequency (UHF) electromagnetic waves. The antenna includes three main wires, a first main wire (10), a second main wire (12) forming a first dipole with the first main wire and a third main wire (14) forming a second dipole with the first main wire. The angle between the first and second main wires is equal to the angle between the first and the third main wires and the angle between the second main wire and the third main wire is between 60° and 180°. Abstract: A post-injection method for the regeneration of a device used to filter diesel engine exhaust gases. The method includes injecting a fully-pulverized hydrocarbon-, alcohol- and/or reducing-agent-type regeneration solution upstream of the oxidation catalyst (14) to increase the exhaust gases' temperature upon detection of clogging of the filter with particles. A computer uses temperature (2) and pressure (3) sensors disposed upstream of the filtration device to control injection of the regeneration solution from an electromagnetic injector (9). The regeneration solution is directed through a capillary (12) into the exhaust pipe (1) at a point located at a good distance from the injector, upstream of the catalyst (5), in order to be finely pulverized by the air.
Abstract: The invention relates to a prepreg comprising a base part, said base part comprising fibers and a matrix, said matrix being at least partially uncured. The prepreg is characterized in that it further comprises a surface part consisting essentially of bioactive filler material, said bioactive filler material being in particle form and at least partially and at most partially embedded in said base part. Abstract: A process for increasing the surface tension (“wettability”) of a silicone element crosslinked by polyaddition from a liquid composition containing one or more ?,?-dimethylvinylpolydimethylsiloxanes (PDMS), one or more poly(dimethyl)(methylhydrogenosiloxy)-?,?-dimethylhydrogenosiloxanes, and a platinum crosslinking catalyst. The silicone surface is treated with a homogeneous atmospheric plasma using a plasma spraying apparatus having a rotating head with one or more plasma nozzles that are offset relative to the axis of rotation, each one being capable of generating a plasma jet whose axis is parallel to said axis of rotation. The articles to which the invention relate include composites of flexible substrate (e.g. textile)/silicone coating. Application: adhesive bonding of silicone surfaces crosslinked by ?Si—H/?Si-vinyl polyaddition.
Abstract: The present invention provides a novel baculovirus vector which can provide a desired protein not requiring infectivity to insect cells, on the viral particle surface; method of producing thereof; and method of gene transfer using the baculovirus vector. Abstract: A sleeve f or repairing a fluid pipe (12), including a rigid or flexible shell (22) which forms a mold that surrounds at least one defective area (10) of the pipe. A liquid-state polymerizable material is injected into the mold, which polymerizes and seals the defective area. The sleeve also includes an insert which is made up of several coils of a filiform element (14), which is wound into a helix around the defective area of the pipe, before the polymerizable material is injected or infused.

A method for opening the opening (10) when closed by plug (2, 2?) is also disclosed.
