  • Patent number: 7473385
Abstract: A method for making a windmill blade is provided, whereby problems with glue joints and with exposure of the workers to environmentally hazardous substances are avoided. This is effected by making the windmill blade in a closed mold with a mold core (3) inside mold parts (22, 48) for formation of a mold cavity (51), in which fiber material (45, 47) and core material (46) are placed. After applying vacuum to the mold cavity (51), matrix material (57) is injected via a filling pipe (29), which is placed at a downwardly oriented side edge of the blade during the filling. Hereby is established a flow front (61) which is used for indicating complete filling when this reaches the trailing edge of the blade and penetrates out through overflow apertures.

  • Patent number: 7466334
Abstract: Recording and indexing audio and video conference calls allows topic-based notification, navigation and playback of one or many recordings. An external conferencing system with five internal modules, recording, indexing, management, notification, and playback allows a plurality of meeting participants to record a conference call, and a plurality of subscribers to access, search, and be notified of the occurrence of an event of interest. The system automatically creates contextual or topic based time intervals which are used to immediately notify a subscriber of an event occurrence. The subscriber can use the time stamps of the topic intervals to navigate and playback the recording. The system also indexes project management files and correlates recording intervals to project tasks, and subsequently correlates multiple recording intervals.

  • Patent number: 7454956
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for detecting leaks in a heat exchangers use mass gas flow metering. A regulated gas supply passes through a mass flow meter before entering either the product chamber or media chamber of a heat exchanger. The regulated gas supply passes into the heat exchanger through an inlet connection. All other inlets and outlets to the testing chamber are closed and isolated so that the chamber holds an applied pressure. The chamber on the opposite side of the heat exchanger is opened to atmosphere. Once gas fills the chamber and a static pressure is realized, the test begins by simply monitoring gas flow. If no flow is indicated, no flow rate is detected, and there is no detectable leak. Gas flow into the test chamber, at any given flow rate, as sensed by the sensitive mass flow meter, is an indication that leakage between the chambers exists.

  • Patent number: 7431055
Abstract: A method for weaving a pile fabric with areas having a corded structure, a backing fabric being woven on a weaving machine by inserting backing weft yarns during successive weft insertion cycles between binding and tension warp yarns, while pattern-weft yarns are inserted outside the backing fabric, and are covered by pile warp yarns forming cords. Successive series of different pattern-weft yarns are inserted into the pile fabric in areas having a corded structure and at least one pattern-weft yarn of each series is running essentially above the warp yarns in a first part of its trajectory and is forming the pattern, and is covered by pile warp yarns essentially forming cords in a second part of its trajectory, so that a predetermined pattern or design is formed. This enables the color palette and/or the effect palette to be modified across the width of the weaving machine with weft effects.

  • Patent number: 7424803
Abstract: A method and corresponding cylinder for pressure amplification in cylinders are disclosed. A second pressurizing piston with a small piston rod is arranged within the cylinder, in other words, within the cylinder housing, by means of which the piston surface cavity in the vicinity of the piston or the pressure medium present there can be further compressed. It is thus possible to increase the stroke displacement where required or to increase the pressure within the cylinder. Further advantages can also be achieved with the above.

  • Patent number: 7419356
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for regulating the airflow around a blade of a windmill. The device comprise a spoiler, which is provided with a cavity. The spoiler is mounted to a surface of the blade in connection with an another flow regulating unit, and the spoiler can change the airflow around the blade by assuming different forms. When the spoiler is in a deactivated form no particular changes of the airflow takes place, as the spoiler runs continually and follows the contour of the blade. When the spoiler is in an activated form the airflow, however, is changed in that the spoiler no longer follows the contours of the blade and creates a discontinuity or at least changes the profile of the blade in such way that the airflow conditions are changed. In particular the airflow conditions can be changed so the effect of the second flow regulating unit completely or partly is eliminated.
