    Abstract: An electrical line for a well pump has elastomeric supports clamped to the exterior of electrical cable for supporting the cable within coiled tubing. The cable supports have an elastomeric member that swells when contacted with a hydrocarbon liquid. Each expansion member is clamped to the cable exterior by retainers located at the ends. The expansion members are spaced apart longitudinally along the cable, and then the cable is inserted into the coiled tubing. Hydrocarbon liquid is pumped through the coiled tubing to cause the expansion members to swell into frictional engagement with the coiled tubing. The retainers direct the swelling laterally into tight contact with the coiled tubing.

At least one scraper cutting element is secured at least partially to the heel surface of the cutter. The scraper cutting element includes an outermost surface, generally aligned with the gage surface of the cutter, that defines a plow edge or point for shearing engagement with the sidewall of the borehole while redirecting cuttings up the borehole.

    Abstract: A grain combine with an improved threshing cage surface achieves greater separation efficiency without increasing the length of the threshing section. The invention utilizes rings mounted to the interior surface of a perforated screen. The rings are transversely secured to a helical vane which is used to guide the crop material rearwardly through the threshing section. The rings interrupt the grain sliding rearward by forcing the grain to bounce over the rings. Since the grain does not penetrate the straw when it bounces over the rings, this invention creates greater separation by decreasing the velocity of the grain so that it may pass more easily through the perforations in the screen. The rings also agitate the grain that is mixed with the straw to allow the grain to penetrate outward toward the perforations in the screen.

    Abstract: Electrolyzed oxidizing water, or EO water, flows from an EO water reservoir through a regulator and into a line for mixing with conventional tap water. The tap water passes through a strong, permanent magnet which aligns molecules within the water in order to reduce the plating of mineral deposits within the equipment. The combined EO water and tap water solution is supplied to a water pump has another permanent magnet. A water heater heats the solution which flows through a control valve to a carpet cleaning wand. The wand is connected to a vacuum hose for evacuating the solution as it is dispensed into the carpet. The waste water solution flows through the vacuum hose and into a waste water tank. A vacuum is drawn on the waste water tank by a conventional vacuum pump. The waste water solution is circulated in the waste water tank so that any sediment in the solution collects at the bottom of the tank.

    Abstract: A lower casing hanger including a cylindrical block with two holes is landed on a shoulder in the bore of a wellhead housing. The first hole has shoulders that are inclined relative to the axis of the housing. The second hole is smooth and has a constant diameter. A first string of casing is run through the first hole and a C-shaped annular slips is placed around the casing. The outer surface of the slips has shoulders for engaging the shoulders on the lower casing hanger. The casing is lowered until the shoulders engage, thereby preventing further downward movement of the casing. An upper casing hanger then is placed on top of the lower casing hanger. The upper casing hanger has two holes that align with the holes in the lower casing hanger. The second hole has shoulders that mate with exterior shoulders on a second slips. A second string of casing is run through the second hole and the second slips is placed around the second casing.

    Abstract: Using additional load shoulders on wellhead casing hangers when multiple casing hangers are needed increases the capacity of the casing hangers to withstand loads. The shoulders of the casing hangers are not required to land simultaneously. Either the upper or lower set of shoulders may contact prior to the other, with the first set to make contact plastically or elastically deforming to allow the other set to land. Other tubular members, such as a test plug may be inserted to pressure test the shoulders of the casing hanger for a casing string that is supported by the casing hanger.

    Abstract: A guidance system comprising two guide tubes are lowered into a well with a conductor. The guide tubes are connected together by partitions which divide the conductor into two halves. Each partition comprises two symmetrical half sections facing in opposite directions. The operator lowers a string of drill pipe into the conductor to drill a first smaller diameter well at the bottom of the conductor. After drilling to the desired depth, the operator runs a first string of casing down the conductor and through the new well bore. The casing is located on one side of each partition and cemented in place. The operator then lowers the drill pipe down the other side of the partitions and repeats the drilling and casing of a second well.

The chest contains an assortment of nonbuoyant toy treasure pieces that are also made from ornately styled waterproof plastic. The treasure pieces include jewelry, coins and trinkets. The treasure pieces are placed inside the treasure chest and the treasure chest is sunk to the bottom of a swimming pool. A player swims to the sunken chest and retrieves a treasure piece. The player returns to the surface of the pool with the retrieved item and repeats the sequence until all of the treasure pieces and the treasure chest are retrieved.

    Abstract: Casing is installed in a well in a folded collapsed condition by uncoiling it from a reel. Two strings of tubing extend continuously through the collapsed casing. One of the strings of tubing is connected to a cement shoe at the lower end of the casing. An opening tool is located above the cement shoe and includes a piston. The other string of tubing extends to a pressure chamber that is between the piston and the cement shoe. After the casing is lowered with a running tool to the desired depth, cement is pumped down the first string of tubing, which flows back up the annulus surrounding the casing. A liquid is then pumped down the second string of tubing into the pressure chamber, causing the piston to push the opening head upward relative to the casing and the strings of tubing. The forming head opens the casing from the collapsed condition into a cylindrical configuration. The running tool retrieves the strings of tubing, opening tool and piston at the conclusion of the opening process.

    Abstract: An anti-theft device that can be used on different size trailer tongues of the type having a socket for receiving a tow ball of a trailer hitch. The device includes a base and a socket insert that projects from the base and is received within the socket of the trailer tongue. A pair of side members are joined to the base and oriented so that the trailer tongue must be passed between the side members for insertion and removal of the socket insert from the trailer tongue socket. Each side member has first and second holes formed therein. A retaining rod inserts into either of the first and second holes of the side members so that the retaining rod extends between the side members and above the trailer tongue to prevent the passage of the trailer tongue between the side members and thus prevent removal of the socket insert from the trailer tongue socket. The first and second holes are each located at different positions to accommodate trailer tongues of different sizes.

A loading member having an outer periphery and being configured to secure loads thereto is provided with an undercut portion or recess located along the outer periphery. The composite sheet material overlays the loading member about the outer periphery and has a lip formed from the sheet material which projects into and engages the undercut portion of the outer periphery. A retaining tension band is wrapped around the outer periphery of the loading member and the lip and maintains the lip in engagement with the undercut portion of the loading member so that the loading member is securely held in place relative to the sheet material when loads are applied to the loading member.

    Abstract: A method and system of image modulation detection of an aircraft exhaust plume by time sequence differentiation is provided. The method comprises the steps of forming two sequential images of the field of view in which an exhaust plume to be detected is located, and forming a differential image from the sequential images showing components of the aircraft's exhaust plume that are modulating at a rate greater than the frame rate of the detection system. The nonmodulating components such as the sky hills, and even the missile body are eliminated from the differential image. Only the plume remains and only the plume is detected. Therefore there is not false alarm note. Each image is formed by a plurality of pixels, wherein each pixel images a portion of the field of view. A value is assigned to each pixel in each of the sequential images that corresponds to one or more characteristics of the pixel.

A thickness of wear-resistant material is applied over the crest and at least a portion of the ends and flanks of the tooth. An extending layer of wear-resistant material is applied at the intersection of the leading flank and the outer end to provide twice the hard-facing thickness and increased wear-resistance in that area of the tooth that is subjected to the greatest wear.

    Abstract: The invention provides an improved ripple pan which compensates for the over-deposition of threshed grain onto the outer portions of the grain pan by channeling the grain to the center of the pan. The pan has a central section with ripples that are perpendicular to the flow of the grain, and two outer sections with outer edges that are elevated above the central section. The ripples on the two outer sections are biased such that the outer edges of the ripples are located rearward of the inner edges of the ripples. An alternate embodiment of this invention solves the problem of excessive grain deposition in the central section of the ripple pan. This embodiment has two outer sections configured similarly to the first embodiment and a central section with a center peak which slopes downward on either side of the peak to the inner edges of the outer sections.

The recess and slot allow the forward end of the top jaw to deflect in a rearward direction. This motion allows the jaws to maintain even pressure on the workpiece instead of cocking, thereby minimizing deflection of the workpiece during machining. The slot defines a rearward facing shoulder on the forward end. The maximum deflection of the forward end is limited by the width of the slot. The distance of deflection may be limited by pins located within holes extending through the jaw perpendicular to the slot.
