The semiconductor layers serving as the photo carrier generating region and emitter regions are both formed of a non-single-crystal semiconductor. By replacing the semiconductor layer serving as the emitter region in the N.sup.+ N.sup.- (or I)PIN or P.sup.+ P.sup.- (I)NIP type photo transistor with a conductive layer which makes Schottky contact with the non-single-crystal semiconductor layer as the photo carrier generating region, a Schottky junction type photo transistor is obtained.

    Abstract: An automobile seat comprising a seat bottom rotatable around a transverse axis approximately parallel to a car body floor, a seat back inclinably mounted on the seat bottom, a seat bottom lock for releasably locking the seat bottom to the floor, a seat back lock for releasably locking the seat back to the seat bottom, and a link for interlocking these locks in such a manner that, when one of them is released, the other is automatically released. The seat bottom lock is provided with a striker fixed to the floor and a lock piece mounted on the seat bottom for engagement with the striker and the seat back lock is provided with a hook for locking the rotation of the seat back. The link transmits the movement of either the lock piece or the hook to the other. In a reclining seat, the seat back lock is formed to releasably lock a knuckle bracket of the reclining mechanism to the seat back or the seat bottom.

    Abstract: When tightening a screw member with a nut runner, the turning angle of the screw member and the tightening torque of the same are detected. The ratio of increase in torque to increase in the tightening turning angle, that is, the torque increasing rate is calculated. Tightening of the screw member is terminated when the force imparted to the screw member exceeds the elastic limit of the screw member and reaches a predetermined tightening point in the plastic range. The total tightening turning angle and the final tightening torque are detected upon termination of the tightening. The elastic tightening turning angle portion of the total tightening turning angle is calculated on the basis of the final tightening torque and the torque increasing rate in the elastic range, and the plastic tightening turning angle portion of the total tightening turning angle portion is calculated by subtracting the elastic tightening turning angle portion from the total tightening turning angle.
