Abstract: A dispensing system for simultaneously dispensing a plurality of reactive materials. The system includes a multiple-barreled syringe having at least two barrels joined by a flange and containing respective different reactive materials. Parallel plungers joined by a flange force sealing members through the barrels to discharge the materials. A static mixer element having an applicator attaches to the syringe, and a means for re-sealing the syringe for subsequent use is provided. A sliding clip engaging a complementary shape removably fixes a loose static mixer element to the syringe, reducing the risk of misplacement and loss.
Abstract: An article comprising an adhesive attachment region is provided. The adhesive attachment region comprises a radiation curable hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive.
Abstract: UV-crosslinkable acrylic hotmelt pressure sensitive adhesives comprising acrylic and vinyl monomers, and a polymerizable UV photoinitiator. The photoinitiator comprises a spacer comprising both ethylene oxide and urethane, or urea, carbonate, or siloxane functional groups. The ethylene oxide is directly bonded to the chromophore (e.g., benzophenone) moiety, while the urethane (or urea, carbonate, siloxane) is closely linked to the polymerizable moiety (e.g., styrenic C?C double bond).
Abstract: A nozzle for the discharge of a flowable substances, for example adhesive or sealing compositions, having a discharge orifice with a variable geometry. The adjustable nozzle permits the user to select the optimal discharge profile suited to a particular application of the composition being discharged.
Abstract: A room temperature curable water-based mold release agent that is useful for demolding composite parts, such as epoxy and polyester based polymer materials. The mold release agent is curable at low temperatures, such as room temperature, but is thermally stable up to conventional epoxy based composite molding temperatures, e.g., greater than 200 or 280° C. The mold release agent is useful for demolding large composite parts that are cured in large ovens at high temperature when the molds themselves are prepped at room temperature before placing in the oven. The mold release agent is also useful for demolding polyester composite parts that are prepared and cured at low temperature such as room temperature.
Abstract: Foaming, moisture-curing prepolymers containing at least one group of formula I: —X-A-Si(Z)n(OR)3?n??(I), and at least one of formula II: —N(R1)—C(O)—Y—R2??(II), and adhesive or assembly foams produced therefrom.

Abstract: Room-temperature vulcanized (RTV) foaming compositions are disclosed. The compositions include at least one enoxysilyl functional group and/or at least one alkoxysilyl functional group, at least one amine catalyst, and at least one silicon hydride functional group. Also disclosed are methods of preparing such compositions and methods of using such compositions, methods for making a gasket, and articles of manufacture.
