Abstract: The wind detector contains a freely movable main section that has wings which will respond to a wind current. The detector is small and light weight so that it will fit into the pocket of a hunter. In addition to having an ability to show wind direction, the detector has a scent container that contains a scent which will mask the hunter's scent and emit a scent attractive to a hunted animal.
Abstract: A photosensitive member having at least two operative materials. The first material comprises a photoconductive material which is capable of photogenerating and injecting photoexcited holes into a contiguous electronically active material. The electronically active material is catalytically synthesized from vinyl derivatives of suitable polycyclic compounds exemplified by phenyl substituted aromatic or heterocyclic groups such as a phenylnaphthalene, a phenylanthracene, a phenylindole, a phenylpyrene and corresponding polymers thereof, the active material being substantially non-absorbing in the wavelength of xerographic use and capable of transporting photogenerated holes. The photoconductive and electronically active materials may be combined in binder or layered xerographic plate configurations.

Abstract: A photosensitive member for electrophotographic use having a photosensitive binder layer comprising zinc oxide and titanium dioxide photoconductive particles blended in a ratio of about 50:50 to 80:20 by weight and homogeneously dispersed into a film forming insulating resin binder, the particles having an average size of about 0.05 micron to 1.0 micron and the zinc oxide and titanium dioxide particles diffusing in light sensitivity by a factor of more than about 1.2 based on a gray filtered mean daylight source.
