  • Patent number: 6532444
Abstract: A system and method to interact with networked objects, via a computer using utterances, speech processing and natural language processing. A Data Definition File relates networked objects and a speech processor. The Data Definition File encompasses a memory structure relating the networked objects, including grammar files and a natural language processor. The speech processor searches a first grammar file for a matching phrase for the utterance, and to search a second grammar file for the matching phrase if the matching phrase is not found in the first grammar file. The system also includes a natural language processor to search a database for a matching entry for the matching phrase; and an application interface to perform an action associated with the matching entry if the matching entry is found in the database. The system utilizes context-specific grammars, thereby enhancing speech recognition and natural language processing efficiency.

  • Patent number: 6318489
Abstract: A novel Ground Effect Machine capable of operating in low airflow and low air-pressure conditions. By using an air bladder, partially filed with liquid, in lieu of a skirt, the invention is able to reduce airflow, and consequently maximize the lift provided by air pressure pump, thus minimizing the amount of air pressure required. In addition, by alternating between positive and negative air pressure within a pressure chamber beneath the ground effect machine, the invention may lift and transport heavy loads or securely fasten the ground effect machine to the floor surface.

  • Patent number: 6202201
Abstract: A Text Object Compiler and Language able to produce binary and text objects that are not machine language code. An object oriented computer language that produces target files of information in any text or binary format; files are defined by the programmer as “pages” and file locations are defined by the programmer as “targets.” The compiler compiles the language to produce any variety of output, which include text formats (such as HTML, SGML, and other scripting languages) and binary formats (such as graphical pictures, binary data, or other multimedia information).
