Abstract: The present invention relates to a confectionary holder which simulates the sound of rain as the holder is vertically positioned. The holder comprises a transparent tube having ends, two sides, and at least two sets of indents directed inward toward the center of the tube and one set of indents per side of the tube. Each indent has a peak, a peak depth, a sloping upper face, a sloping lower face, and between each indent is a space length. The peaks of said indents alternate from one side to the other side along the tube length. The angle of incline of each indent face and the length of the space between each indent are selected to allow rigid items, e.g., candy or gum, when placed in the holder, to create the sound of rain as the confectionary pieces flow downward dropping onto each indent face, sliding off each face, and moving from side to side from one end of the holder to the other end when the holder is vertically positioned.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a wheel chair and a cup holder which is adapted to be secured to the vertical tubular support member of the wheelchair for supporting various sizes beverage containers. The holder comprises a base for supporting a small container, e.g., coffee cups, a flat ring mounted on the base for supporting a large container. The ring having a substantial inner surface height to support the sidewall of the small container. The base can be provided with an opening for liquid drainage. Mounted to the ring is a continuous circular wall having a substantial height for supporting the sidewall of a large container. The wall can be notched for the protrusion of coffee cup handles. Projecting outwardly the wall and integral therewith a first attachment arm having an inner surface. A second attachment arm having an inner surface is provided. The first and second attachment arms each have curved portions and a centrally disposed arcuate portion on their respective inner surface.
Abstract: A device for inserting and/or removing pins from a roller chain includes a block having a cradle for immobilizing and temporarily holding a roller chain together while pins are being inserted or removed. The device has a pair of threaded bores aligned with a pin or pin opening of a roller chain received in the cradle, one threaded bore carries a screw having a ram portion operable to positively force a pin from the roller chain, the other threaded bore carries a screw operable to positively force a pin into the roller chain.
