  • Patent number: 4570681
Abstract: A weaving machine is combined with a stop control means. A warp feeler, a weft feeler or a manual stop switch produces a stop signal and sends it to the control means. A comparator compares a crank angle sensed by a crank angle sensor with a preset angle supplied by a preset angle supplier, and produces a position signal at the preset angle. If the control means receives the stop signal during a normal weaving operation, then the control means stops the weaving machines immediately regardless of the crank angle by sending an output signal to a brake system of the weaving machine. After that, the control means starts the weaving machine moving at a slow speed, and stops this slow speed movement when the comparator produces the position signal at the preset angle.

  • Patent number: 4559842
Abstract: A governor shaft for supporting a governor valve is rotatably supported to a transmission case by a stopper pin. The governor shaft is formed with an annular groove having a rectangular cross section. The stopper pin is inserted through the transmission case, and engaged with the annular groove of the governor shaft for preventing the governor shaft from being extracted and allowing the rotation of the governor shaft. The stopper pin has two cylindrical portions and a middle portion lying between the cylindrical portions. The middle portion is received in the annular groove, and the cylindrical portions are supported by the transmission case. In one embodiment of the present invention, the middle portion has a square cross section, so that the stopper pin tends to be in face contact with the annular groove. The cylindrical portions are arranged to allow the stopper pin to rotate to a limited extent.

  • Patent number: 4546695
Abstract: A grille unit has a frame and a vane pivotally connected to the frame via opposing first and second shafts. The frame has first and second holes snugly receiving the first and second shafts respectively. The first shaft has a peripheral surface, the diameter of which continuously varies along the axis thereof. The second shaft has a similar peripheral surface. The varying-diameter surfaces of the first and second shafts face in opposite directions. The frame has a first inner surface which conforms to the varying-diameter surface of the first shaft to engage the latter. The frame has a second inner surface which conforms to the varying-diameter surface of the second shaft to engage the latter. A method of manufacturing the grille unit includes the steps of forming the frame from plastic, and assemblying a mold with the frame positioned within the mold.
