Abstract: A cup lid for use with a drinking cup containing a liquid, the drinking cup having a base and a sidewall extending upwardly from the base, the sidewall including an inner surface, a top end, and a rim extending along the circumference of the top end.
Abstract: A unique vacuum loader with a special tangential separator is provided to efficiently remove, readily collect, effectively separate, and safely dispose of wet, dry, and fibrous materials, including liquids and slurries, in a mine or in other places. Desirably, the tangential separator is compact for use in mines and has special directional vanes which vary the flow and enhance separation of dusty fluid carrying the fibrous material, dust, and other particulate matter.
Abstract: A convenient versatile telephone handset and holder assembly are provided, which are particularly useful for business travelers in airplanes, trains, ships, and buses to link up to reservation systems and other data bases. The telephone handset preferably has one set of telephone activating keys and another set of computer control keys. The special telephone handset can also have a card-receiving slot and a recessed mouthpiece. The handset holder assembly has a sloping bottom portion and an elastomeric biasing member to facilitate quick removal fo the telephone handset. An overhead lock assembly can be provided to engage the credit card-receiving slot of the telephone handset in order to secure the handset when the handset is stored in the holder. A special reversible mount plate and bracket can also be provided to quickly and securely mount the handset to the left, right, or other portions of a chair, bulkhead, or other surface.
Abstract: A special bagger unit is provided to remove and contain asbestos, hazardous material, and other particulate matter in an efficient, effective and safe manner. The special bagger unit operates under continuous negative pressure for all phases of operation while preventing emissions of asbestos and other particulates to the atmosphere. Desirably, the special bagger unit has a vacuum operated assembly with a filling member which communicates with an inlet port and a separate fluid outlet port. In the preferred embodiment, the filling member comprises a tubular vacuum cylinder which discharges asbestos and other particulate matter downwardly into a container, such as one or more sealed bags which can be placed in a drum or other vessel. The container is preferably supported and partially sealed by a support platform, such as a moveable platen, supported on a base.
Abstract: A substantially rectangular golf course comprises a grouping of three relatively close holes spaced from a plurality of tee areas each for playing a respective hole. This arrangement can be combined in side by side or mutually opposed relation with one or more reptitions of the same arrangement. The course is played by teeing off for all three holes in a grouping before putting out on any hole in that grouping, and all holes are putted out before teeing off any further. All the holes in a grouping are played simultaneously as a group.
Abstract: A unique vacuum loader and process is provided to efficiently remove, effectively collect, and safely dispose asbestos, hazardous material, and other particulate matter under continuous negative pressure during all phases of operation while preventing emissions of asbestos and other particulates to the atmosphere. In the preferred embodiment, the vacuum loader comprises a four stage, dual unit, machine with a trailerable separation and filtration unit to centrifugal separate, dedust, and filter dust laden fluid and a portable bagger unit to safely discharge the removed asbestos or other material into bags or other containers.
Abstract: A specially arranged two compartment, industrial dust collector is provided which is efficient, effective, and economical. The first compartment has a lower cyclone chamber which contains a cyclone. The second compartment has a central chamber which contains at least one filter to filter the remaining particulates of dust.
Abstract: A unique vacuum loader is provided with a special silencer base to quietly, efficiently, and effectively remove particulate matter, debris and waste from industrial plants and other locations. The silencer base comprises a muffler and sound abatement control assembly with a composite sound attenuating chamber. The sound attenuating chamber has a zigzag channel to decrease and dampen operational noises to safe and comfortable levels. The silencer base has a top plate to support and dampen vibrations of the vacuum pump and motor.
Abstract: A special bag assembly provides a primary material collection receiver to efficiently, effectively, and safely collect, remove, and dispose asbestos and other hazardous material without exposing surrounding personnel to the collected asbestos or other hazardous material. The primary material collection receiver can have a porous or perforated inner bag positioned within the interior of a solid imperforate bag, a perforated inner shell to accommodate expansion of the bags, a shroud to prevent hazardous material from contaminating the outside of the outer bag, and a vacuum tank surrounding the shroud.
Abstract: A specially arranged, five stage, four compartment, vacuum loader is provided to collect, remove, and dispose asbestos and other hazardous material in an efficient, effective, and safe manner without exposing surrounding personnel to the collected asbestos or other hazardous material.
