  • Patent number: 7873442
Abstract: A system and method to optimize the use of utility power. The system and method obtains real-time and scheduled data. The data is saved into a database. An application is run to optimize the use of the utility power based on forecasted load requirements and available resources. A schedule is produced after optimizing the desired use for the utility power for a given user.

  • Patent number: 7789393
Abstract: A resource component for a game system. The resource component has a game play structure. It also has a linking mechanism. The linking mechanism is arranged about the game play structure. During play of the game, the linking mechanism dictates a gameplay condition. This gameplay condition is the availability of the game play structure to be included into the game system by linking to opposing resource components already present in the game play system. The game system is build around a central component.

  • Patent number: 7779931
Abstract: An apparatus to accomplish rotational work on a securing element. The apparatus has a main body portion and an articulating arm. The main body has a power source, a drive motor, and a drive shaft. The drive shaft extends into the articulating arm which has a first section rotatable about the drive shaft. The articulating arm also has a second section which is seated on a first transversely aligned drive shaft interoperating with the drive shaft itself. The first transversely aligned drive shaft transmits rotational work to a second transversely aligned drive shaft which supports a third section. A third section interoperates with a spindle section which receives the rotational work from the second transversely aligned drive shaft to accomplish rotational work on the securing element.

  • Patent number: 7748369
Abstract: A launching apparatus for shooting a series of bolts in rapid-fire succession. The apparatus has an arcuate frame which is arranged along a longitudinal medial section with a transversely aligned upper section and a transversely aligned lower section. The midpoint of the arcuate frame has a grip portion for holding onto the launching apparatus. The frame also has an elastic launching band which is held tightly between an upper connector and a lower connector. A forearm brace extends perpendicular to the arcuate frame. The arcuate frame is held within a launching plane and the forearm being secured to the longitudinal medial section and aligned parallel to the user's forearm. The forearm brace resists an overturning moment applied from the elastic band about the longitudinal medial section of the arcuate frame. The brace keeps the arcuate frame in its launching plane. The bolt is configured for rapid-fire launch, and is arranged as a cylindrical shaft.

  • Patent number: 7740518
Abstract: A jousting element for use in a game. The jousting element has a body which is arranged around a cylindrically aligned vertical axis. The body is configured to rotate about the vertical axis and to be carried above a playing surface. A traveling component connected to the body enables the body of the jousting element to be carried above the playing surface along multiple directions of travel. Attached to the body is a first playing component. The first playing component enables the jousting element to engage a second jousting element.

  • Patent number: 7458344
Abstract: An assembly modification of an existing two-stroke single cylinder 43 CC to 52 CC combustion engine. The assembly substantially increases the horsepower of the stock two-stroke engines. The modifications include using a reed valve kit which is modified to connect to the threaded carburetor connection bolt holes on the outside of the engine casing at the intake port. A drilled excavation in the interior face of the engine cylinder to provide for an additional transfer port at the location of the fuel/air intake port is also provided. The additional transfer port has a roof with varying angles of inflection depending on the performance characteristics desired during operation of the combustion engine. The reed valve kit also provides additional configurations for larger or smaller carburetors located at the intake port of the reed valve block. The piston skirt is modified for an additional opening at the intake port for providing fuel air mixture into the crank case for additional volume intake.

  • Patent number: 7394387
Abstract: A rescue device which attaches to the frame of a self-contained breathing apparatus carried on the back of emergency workers such as firemen, hazardous-waste cleanup crews, and other individuals entering into hostile environments. The rescue device is adapted to connect to the frame of existing self-contained breathing apparatus frames or racks. In one form, the rescue device has a top and bottom frame which connects to the SCBA frame at the top and bottom locations. The frames project around the body of the SCBA tank and extend out to position rolling elements for providing the transportation needs. The frames have at the rolling elements ends wheel forks which contain wheels having axles. In another embodiment a skid plate is attached to the ends of the frames in conjunction with the protruding wheels or by itself without rolling elements. Other ways of creating the reduction in frictional drag are provided such as a sled type configuration and a track system.
