Abstract: A lighting fixture assembly with easy access to a junction box or electrical box having a mounting frame adapted to be coupled to a wall in an architectural space. Through an opening in the frame or ceiling, a luminaire is coupled to the mounting frame for projecting light through the opening. A support, such as a substantially U-shaped bracket having legs with first and second lengths, is coupled to the mounting frame and to the electrical box for supporting the electrical box in a position tilted towards the opening. This provides easy access and viewing through the opening from below the mounting frame when the luminaire is not located in the opening.

Abstract: A surface mount power outlet for connecting to a plug includes a cover having a fin disposed on an outer surface and a substantially circular face with a plurality of slots for receiving a plug. The cover also has a substantially arcuate body disposed below the face, an open back, and a pocket on an inner surface adjacent the fin. A base having a base plate with a shape corresponding to the open back includes a tab protruding from the upper surface for matching up with the pocket when aligned with the fin to complete a rock and lock attachment. The configuration of the cover apertures dictates whether the power outlet accommodates a 30 amp or a 50 amp power receptacle.

Abstract: A lock-on boot for preventing a double-ended cable from becoming detached from a motor disconnect switch, includes a cover, a retaining rail, a locking mechanism, and a hinge. The cover has two convexly curved shells, each with an inner wall, an interior end, and an exterior end. The retaining rail is mounted on the inner walls within the convexly curved shells for dividing the shells into first and second pockets. The locking mechanism secures the convexly curved shells together and protrudes along their exterior ends. The hinge extends along the convexly curved shells pivotally joining their interior ends so that the convexly curved shells are movable between open and closed positions.

Abstract: A compression connector assembly for securing a cable has a bushing insert and a gripping sleeve. The bushing insert includes a tubular bore, an exterior surface, a conductor receiving end, and a conductor engagement end. The gripping sleeve has an inner recess and an outer surface, and is adjacent to the conductor engagement end. The tubular bore and the inner recess are substantially coaxial, defining a cable securing passageway.

Abstract: A wedge clamp assembly includes a body having a body cable gripping surface, and a slider having a slider cable gripping surface. The slider cable gripping surface faces the body cable gripping surface to grip a cable. A connector is formed in one of the body and the slider, and includes a slot for moving the slider between closed and locked positions and an end portion formed on the other of the body and the slider. The end portion is axially slidable and rotatable in the slot. A coupling between the body and the slider pivotally connects the slider for movement between the closed position and an open position.

Abstract: A clamp for a cable having a housing with a first end, a second end, and an interior cavity to receive the cable. The clamp also includes a jaw assembly having a notch. The jaw assembly moves between locked and triggered positions within the cavity. A biasing member is disposed within the cavity to bias the jaw assembly towards the triggered position. A retainer is arranged within the cavity and has gripping fingers to engage the notches in the locked position. A trigger is positioned within the cavity. The trigger has an outer locking portion to engage with the gripping fingers to releasably secure the gripping fingers in the notches to retain the jaw assembly in the locked position. When the cable is inserted into the interior cavity and contacts the trigger device, the gripping fingers and notches disengage so that the biasing member biases the jaw assembly towards the first end of the clamp to clamp the cable.
